When did you realize that you were using music to fill the void in your soul and your heart?
Seriously, I just download tons of music whenever I feel down
A few minutes ago.
Years ago, but it's cheaper than therapy.
Could be worse
I could be filling it with horse semen or heroin or scientology or whatever
music's not too bad
>tfw people on /b/ are happier and more adjusted to real life than most people on /mu/
I only listen to music to relax after jerking off.
Luckily, I jerk off a lot.

Music helps me deal with my never ending existential panic attacks.
>tfw running out of space on hard drive
When I run I think I'll just have to kill myself.
Or just get another hard drive.
I started getting into music a lot more since I sunk into a pretty deep depression 4 months ago. 3 weeks ago it suddenly got about 10x worse and all I've been doing for the past week is lay in bed all day, eating little, listening to music for basically 18 hours straight, and browsing /mu/.

It's ok, I have periods where I get down too, don't feel like a loser because of it. Just treat yourself to your favorite foods, and get comfy while listening to music, you'll feel better again.

Right when I read this shitty thread. Thanks a lot, OP.

I live in constant fear of this day. I

I realized that when I listen to my music I feel more depressed.
I've been pretty aware for a while.
No shame in seeking a cathartic experience by means of appreciating art. There IS shame in abusing alcohol, drugs, food, and most other things.
>>52229954
shit i never thought about that
fuck

What if I keep it to just music, coffee, and weed? Can I avoid shaming 14 generations of poor white people?
>>52230719
Well, consider they're comparative consequences.
Abusing music keeps you intellectually stimulated, self-fulfilled (don't fucking try to tell me that people with better taste in music don't live more fulfilling lives fuck off), and cultured.
Abusing coffee is bad for your teeth, cholesterol, and blood pressure and abusing weed is tolling to basic cognition and your senses of motivation and self-perception.

So ... it about balances out?
>>52230816
Coffee can be good for motivation, digestion, and lowering the risks of liver disease and diabetes.
Weed can be good for relaxing, sleep disorders/irregular sleep schedules, and is a healthier alternative to painkillers.
They all have their uses m8. But yeah, Music is the most fulfilling.
a few years ago. drugs help too, i've realized. wish i had some coke right now.
idk but it's stopped working.
i really hope everyone here feels better, i love you all even if we're all faggots anyway

>wish i had some coke right now
We all do. Anyone who says different doesn't know what they're talking about.
>>52231296
>i love you all even if we're all faggots anyway
i love you guys
/mu/ has shown me a lot of music i probably never would have found, and I'm not the slightest bit ashamed of that
I don't even feel music anymore...

This past year. Finding music that I can connect to at an emotional level is great, especially when noones ever there to do it with.
