New bc thread! Criticize, rec, + or -, or :) and :(
>harsh noise, plunderphonics, noise rock, drone
recc'ing fennec. criminally underrated bleep bloop album and one of my favorites from 2014.
>instrumental hip hop, musique concrete, experimental hip hop, made exclusively by sampling sounds made by objects in my house, sampling my voice, or circuit bending
Looking for a rapper to be featured on my next album. Email me at [email protected] I have a bunch of beats and lyrics but you can rap your own written lyrics if you think mine are shitty (imo they are).
People have mixed opinions about it.
Good to see you Foliage
>progressive punk, art punk i guess?
>classical influence (ives/cowell)
pic related: northeast US tour next month
Here's a song from our upcoming album. It's called Houdiniana:
Cassettes are finally starting to come together! A good cassette deck is coming in the mail and I'll then order my tapes and record them. As far as I can tell, there will be a run of 30 tapes!
>indie pop, psych, dark folk
when will there be new stuff?
finished new songs
>a bunch of other cover albums
Just listened to ADHD. Gr8 stuff like always. Instrumentation is always awesome and makes me jealous
<3 U Pontiac!
If you guys click on Pontiacs link (which I recommend you do) try his new track
I love the lyrics in it.
Going to hear this now quickly>>52164964
Really enjoyable jangle pop, in the same vein as The Smiths for sure.
I really like your vocals dude, keep it up!
>piano something, organs, concept album
I'm still super excited for my interview in the Massachusetts newspaper. Wish me luck everyone, I'll link after it goes on the site.
Good to see you K. Trips
Reccing back for Dave Roland, brilliant lo-fi jangliness in the goofy vein of Mac Demarco but with the nostalgic warming sound of slight 60's influences.
just finished this track, any feedback is sick.
>>52165105 (happy for the feature your getting thats really cool!)
reccing these good people
Reccing these, especially k. since he's worked with us before.
>post-metal, post-music, post-life
I was worried I wasn't going to get trips when posting.
Good for you
I will probably snag one of the releases. Sounding great!
Heard this before buddy! Thanks again mate. Good luck with the interview. I am sure with your skill you will be all good!
Do I even need to recc this guy. Just go listen to it if you haven't. Everyone loves it.
I want to send you an email with a song in it for the new Polysemy album if I may! You don't have to put it on but it would be cool. Love you guys.
I saw you post in a BC thread a week or so ago, I ended up downloading your album and I've been playing it a lot on the walk to work and just chilling around the house. Good stuff dude.
Yeah! I know bud. That is why I thought you should have this song!
Thankyou for reviewing my album. It meant a lot to me! I need to hear this album that you have recommended again. Read the review for the KFC death grips sounding one. That album is amazing. Pity I can't remember the name but I know that he posts in here!
>atmospheric/minimalist folk, some freak folk
These tunes are a real "slam-dunk" if you will:
Also I really liked this album:
New compilation out by the label I'm on (I'm Larksburg)
>three songs each
Thanks for listening!
>Sega Bass Fishing

Why is your album cover Retired Boxer by Daniel Johnston?
It's like if I just cropped out the woman from ITAOS and called it my album cover.
new stuff soon.
>emo queer party punk alaska
>lo fi fuzz folk, depressing
if you like that ^ album, check out the music i make under the name ezra triste & maybe you'll like it too. it's pretty different.
>basement pop, recorded to tape
>First-wave post-rock and video game music inspired indie rock?
>Thematically geeky at times
This is my first release, released in October. I'd appreciate feedback of any kind.
This sounds pretty good. The guitars sound kind of thin and tinny though. Was it the recording or a stylistic choice?
Listened to this in a bandcamp thread once, really nice.
Pretty catchy tunes. I dig your voice. On the first song your style is like a combination of Jeff Mangum's style and Brand New-esque pop-punk vocals. Also, I'm digging the fuzz.
>yelly mathy indie rock
>FFO: modest mouse's first two albums, polvo
>hip-hop, triphop, physchedelic, 2am
The not long await return
>Dance, Dark, House, Hip Hop,
I was supposed to work with both actually but kinda just ended up not doing it. I don't have time or extra songs left to give. And I don't really feel like singing over a previously made lo-fi instrumental.
>lofi, sadcore, bedroom pop, lyrics about being a piece of shit
all great stuff
I just made some christmas EP for fun
>psych, garage, post-punk
New album, free download, enjoy.

>noise rock, math rock, shoegaze
>jangle indie stuff
>groovy psych, laid back music to drink coffee to
>star trek comedy funk rock
>sample based psych pop
It's interesting, I'll give it that. I was expecting something like Panuccis Pizza or Tiny Moving Parts, but the jazzy stuff really makes it stand out.
I don't dislike it, but it's just not quite my cup of tea.
>psych-pop, indie folk
>ambient, drone, glitch
>noise rock, math rock, shoegaze
Like me on Facebook here: /cashewmusic

Would really enjoy some feedback since I'm going to start recording again soon, the past few months I haven't had any inspiration but I think I've got it now, or at least part of the image.
>electronic odd meter usually guitary sounding usually
This is amazing. Sounds a lot like M83 to me.
>Space Rock, (Maybe) Post Rock, (Kinda) Indie Rock
It's our first album. Production isn't amazing, we're still kinda proud though. Feedback is appreciated.

Totally into actual criticism too, I want to hear what I should do differently.
Suburban Campers - First Two EPs
We are thinking about putting this out on vinyl but want to gauge intrest. What do you guys think?
Well thinking of doing it through kickstarter so in the range of 12-15 plus shipping until we reach the 2000 up front we need to press 300. And all orders will come with stickers and pins.
Aight man email me or follow on facebook at /humansoundsrecs and I'll get you more info when we decide to do it. Hopefully this happens because this album was my AOTY and the whole reason I wanted to start a small label in the first place
8 advanced copies of debut LP now available. Get Pretty, Pretty Dresses before it comes out on the first.

>garage rock / something like that
super low quality, i know, but would love some feedback.
it's all done on Reason.

It's drenched in reverb and is old, but it's still purty sounding
Also, I have no clue what genre this is.
>Experimental, Various Genres
>Each release is something different.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. :)
>atmospheric black metal, post-black, soundtrack music
Feedback and criticism most welcome, guys.
>post-rock, ambient, experimental. kinda like Godspeed You! Black Emperor I guess
I've only released one album, but I have the next three planned out and I think they should turn out pretty great. I will always release these for free digitally, but hopefully I'll be able to make a really nice deluxe vinyl package some day.
>experimental electronic rock from Seattle
We put out our first proper studio recorded release late this year, a 12" single limited to 250 copies.
thinking about a super limited (<50) cassette release if this gets enough buzz
>ambient electronic ambient dark ambient drone drone ambient experiemental harsh noise noise noise ambient Los Angeles
>shitgrind, post-wank, progressive loli butt
>Been best described as "Evil Japanese
Arcade Racer Music", "A prediction of what the future of music will sound like made in 1982", and music for "driving through the snow at night and pretending like the snowflakes are stars and you just hit hyperdrive". A mix of various electronic genres with a retro vibe.

>compressed and glitchy as shit
>synths and samples everywhere
This album is a lot of fun, will be copping a tape
FEELING THIS, hmu brother
Love these guys, seriously one of the better modern power violence acts out there, eschewing the tired NAILS/WeekendNachos Formula
