Recommendations, Finds and your own music.
this is something weird i found.
>The attached recordings are from a 2 week social experiment in which 3 participants were given undisclosed drugs and locked in a room with access only to a fake internet created by us. The participants were told to browse the internet and make music based on what was going on.
This was the result. All song names were based on what they saw
during the time of the experiment.
This is a test of the human mind, what there reality becomes when it becomes manufactured. The natural instinct to adapt shines.
>indie pop I guess
Lots of new projects in the works with different people
>lo-fi indie rock with spacey shoegazy ambient shit
We're making brand new material with Daycare Riot and Polysemy and we now have a very unusual dream pop shoegaze album coming soon. So far it's sounding pretty good, so Polysemy fans should watch this space.
>Traditional folk / Folk revival / Folk revival
And thanks to whoever paid for it last night!

3rd time posting this today. if this thread is as shitty as the last i might go for 4
>experimental texture stuff
Decided to work more on the structure for the future stuff. Also changed my "about the album section"
90s sort of slacker rock / pop
>noise rock! old funk breaks! twerk drums! riot grrrl samples! apparently we sound like death grips?
this was pretty neat, i guess. is the attached story true, or just an interesting blurb?
just listening to this for the first time. this is super fun, really digging the fruity organ and synths. lots of variety from track to track too (like, so far). the bass licks on sex panther are sick.
>Short Ambient Tracks
Is that a Bionicle mask on the album artwork? Wow.
>first release is ok, imo
>Desolate is more of a sit down and think track
>instrumental hip hop, musique concrete, experimental hip hop, made exclusively by sampling sounds made by objects in my house, sampling my voice, or circuit bending
>garage rock, power pop, alt rock
feedback would be very much appreciated
> home rec analog electronic rockish
Got a new video for a song from my next album, real proud of it
>ambient, shoegaze, post-rock I guess
New album out last month
Really cool stuff. Awesome sampling work. Although sometimes it feels a bit unfocused.
Nice chilled out vibe, Feel like I should be listening to this while driving through the Australian outback in a Jeep. I really like it.
Sounds like the beginning to a bunch of different songs rather than an actual song itself. Does set a cool, peacefully hectic atmosphere though.
Sounds really fucking crazy and cool, I like it.
Nice. The guitar is a bit overpowering though.
>improv, space rock
song about the end of the world that we kinda just sat down and started recording in my friends bedroom

EXPANDING SPONGE FINALLY PUT OUT SOMETHING NEW?
>electronic math/post/prog rock type
>a few other kinds of stuff too
SOMETHING ABOUT THAT DEATH...
is a release that kinda means a bunch of different things to me as the person who wrote it, i hope at least some of it is expressed fluently, or at least sounds good.
>sad beep boop from the depths of my stupid soul
>trippy psych with a heavy alt rock twist
>mathgaze, experimental light noise rock
I'd really appreciate some feedback on this, the album hasn't been given as much attention as past projects which is pretty discouraging since I think it's my most accessible work so far. Track three is the one that has been most enjoyed by people so you might want to start there even if it's not a great representation of the album as a whole.
>Noise Pop, Shoegaze, Dream Pop
>ambient, drone, glitch
>noise rock, math rock, shoegaze

mrs. hopewell - brief interviews with suffering artists
> bedroom pop cassettes coming VERY SOON
Liked you guys before
Never heard you guys before but I like your stuff. It's the right amount of unpolished, like Pavement, not like shitty bedroom rock. The bass is almost inaudible though.
I like the use of bells instead of the vibraphone thing that almost all post rock artists use. This mix of crescendocore post rock and sort of experimental in-your-face ambient fits real well. Also a fan of the military march drums in "The Streets", but they sound a little too high in the mix, maybe drop the bass drum back a little? It would really click then.
Listened to Miniseizures. It's not good, I imagine I would like this more if I liked Faust or Olivia Tremor Control, or Captain Beefheart. It just sounds like out of tune fucking around and it's not really entertaining or interesting or even charming. There are points where it does sound cool (there are a few moments in "Sickin" that I liked) but overall it's just bad. If you guys stopped fucking around you could make some really good music.

Thank you very much for feedback, I really appreciate this. You are probably first person who gave me some constructive criticism. And actually I have to admit that I fully agree with what you said.

(don't really buy it)
>noise, drone, ambient
>ambient electronic ambient dark ambient drone drone ambient experiemental harsh noise noise noise ambient Los Angeles
First use of Ableton and first use of my first midi. Essentially a reinterpretation of a dream I had of being born and living in ice cave for my life. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Friend of mine remixed one of my tracks

Any feedback given will be returned.
Good day! We just released our first album.
>space rock/indie rock-ish
>dystopian, chill, ambient, dark electronic
>releasing 10 physical USBs with my new album and extras on it
>'No Rest For The Wired' is a bonus track made specifically for it
I like this.
Yeah man I think we share some similar sounds collabing would be sweet. I'm pretty busy with college and work but I usually find at least 4 - 6 hours a week to do something musically.
cool cool listen email me with some ideas you had. Iv got some decent analog synths could throw in the mix but not to sure how to go about collaborating over the net :)
is that you
I'm all over that album, it's amazing.
I love Spine Adagio and A Lonely Nickel For Suffering Bones too. Haven't listened to much of your stuff done under other pseudonyms but I'm planning on doing so later.
I've been mumbling/singing/humming parts of Mourning Star, Forget About Ghost, Glasscatcher and basically all of spine adagio pt II & the prince so much lately, your melodies are so catchy and your lyrics paint amazing images
definitely recommending this
also that one song you posted on youtube recently is great too
god I'm such a fanboy
None of my projects, but I've been digging these couple for a
while & think they deserve some attention
Dance With the Dead's new EP is out.
>electronic, synthwave, synthpop, new wave
>progressive rock, experimental
Hope you like what you hear and thanks for the listens!
>Been best described as "Evil Japanese
Arcade Racer Music", "A prediction of what the future of music will sound like made in 1982", and music for "driving through the snow at night and pretending like the snowflakes are stars and you just hit hyperdrive". A mix of various electronic genres with a retro vibe.
>Electronic, emotive, hip hop, yolo
>lo-fi garage beach rock/punk
for fans of Jay Reatard, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, ect.
we just released this ep yesterday, lemme know what you think!
We're making brand new material with Daycare Riot and Polysemy >>52114927 and we now have a very unusual dream pop shoegaze album coming soon. So far it's sounding pretty good, so Polysemy fans should watch this space.
If anyone else would also like to collaborate or do some new overlays for a track, do let us know. The more people we get, the faster we can release it (we're hoping for a Christmas release).
>Experimental & Psychedelic
>(we're hoping for a Christmas release).
oh cool now i'm making two christmas albums!
>tis the fucking season
Thanks man. Just recorded a new song like 3 hours ago
I think I might finally almost be done with the concept album. My friends are telling me that 11 songs is more than enough but I mean 4 of them are covers so I dunno. Making a concept album is fun though
I'm trying to start a bandcamp account, but the name is taken, but the account fucking isn't anything. No music, no background. It just says "sign up to make music!". Can I contact BC and ask them to give me this name the way SC does for inactivity?
put out tapes today, check 'em! real cheap, only four canadian dollars (wow!)
>short ambient tracks
>cute synth music
