Are you kidding me? Seriously, the fact that so many people still name Poseidon in Chains "the greatest or most significant or most influential" oceangrunger ever only tells you how far oceangrunge still is from becoming a serious art. Vaporwave critics have long recognized that the greatest vaporwave musicians of all times are Vektroid and Daniel Lopatin, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Witch house critics rank the highly controversial Crystal Castles over classical musicians who were highly popular in clubs around Europe. Oceangrunge critics are still blinded by commercial success: Poseidon in Chains sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore he must have been the greatest. Vaporwave critics grow up listening to a lot of vaporwave music of the past, witch house critics grow up listening to a lot of witch house of the past. Oceangrunge critics are often totally ignorant of the oceangrunge of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that Poseidon in Chains did anything worth of being saved
