I dig it. It's got an atmosphere that I can get into that definitely fits the vibe it feels like you're trying to give off (somewhat eerie late night vibes). I dl'd it to check the whole thing out later so this advice may be off base once I listen to the whole thing, but some variety in sound could be cool. From what I heard already it felt like one sound throughout the tracks, but it'd be cool to see shit grow as the song progresses.

mfw I avoid these threads because as much as I want my music to gain recognition I can't bring myself to listen to any other music posted ITT because I can't enjoy the other artists because of stupid pretensions related to listening to unprofessional artists

Before you get mad, I'm asking for tips. Since Bandcamp allows so many people to be heard, there's bound to be those fucking terrible people that try to copy/reuse more popular sounds... But I enjoy the editors picks, so can I get by just listening to those instead of digging frustrated through many artists to find perhaps 3-4 good artists?

Really like this, can't really offer critique because it's too refined.

The other guy was right, the third track is probably the best here. It sounds like a low-budget Nujabes, which I do like, but Vacation and Jam #1 are kinda weak.
Vacation still gets a pass because it sounds like a video game tutorial or menu screen theme. Metro's beat is the best, but it sort of clashes with the calmer jazz underneath it, which I guess is the intended effect but the song's too short for the two to really make a good impression.
If were to change one thing about it, I'd put a low pass filter on the drums and tone down the clipping a bit. It would sound a shit ton like Nujabes then. BDSM is just lol, I didn't listen to the whole thing though.
All in all, I rate it 3.5/5 it shows great promise.

I meant the distortion. The drums have this dirty quality that I associate with drum overdrive on drum machines. It's not that they're too loud, it's just that texturally, the song has a harsh element (drums) and a smooth element (jazz) and the drums punch through the mix too much.
