>>
>>51229765
what's wrong with jungle m8?
>>
>>51229811
It's shit and it's 20 years old. Get with it gramps.
>>
>>51229811
>>51229847
Yeah, Jungle is awful. And what a repetititve genre.
>>
>>51229811
I enjoy it, but the Anglocentrism of /bleep/ still shits me.
>>
Whatchu guys think of Sd Laika? That's Harakiri is one of my AOTYSF
>>
>>51229916
It's alright but from a Grime perspective, it's a bit too experimental for my liking, which is why I prefer Wen - Signals (despite them not being that comparable really).
>>

>>
>>51229989
How can something be too experimental? Just curious
>>

>>
>>51229998
I meant it in terms of personal preference. A lot of people like it, I prefer my Grime to be more closer to dark UKG/2Step like it was when it first came out.

It's really a Grime album to be fair so it's not a great criticism of it.
>>
>>51230038
It'd make sense that I like it then, I don't really like any other grime (usually don't like bleeps), it's usually not ~experimental~ enough for me. That's why I like Actress as well, he always seems to be pushing his bleepy style to something beyond it

Yeh DnB is so much better xD

When listening to new /bleep/ tracks, do you always listen to them entirely?

I usually skip most of the track and only listen to a few parts, then if it sounds about right to me, I add it to a playlist and get back to it when I have more time to concentrate.
For instance, I do that on my soundcloud feed because it would take more time than a life counts to hear everything entirely.
So basically, I almost only listen to bits of tracks during the week (plus a mix during the way back home), and on week ends, I listen to everything I stored that sounded good, and decide if they are actually worth it.

I know this is stupid, because I'm missing lots of tracks that require multiple hearings, but there is just too much new music...
I'm feeling I would need at least 3 human lives if I wanted to give every artist/album/track a chance.

Sure, that's what magazines/websites/blogs are here for, but I would prefer to rely only on my personal judgement.

>>
>>51231688
it's a sub genre of garage
>>
>>51231655
Do they have DMZ009 in flac? I've never heard a rip of it that had any decent bass.
>>
>>51231686
james off /fa/. this dan, or nah?
>>
>>51231688
It's a derivative of dark UKG/2-step that was played in clubs and pirate radio. What Hip-Hop have you heard that sounds like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am9SdqJYddU
>>
>>51231688
it comes from garage. they were all garage mcs y'know saying random stuff on the beat. but then they got sick of having all these random female vocals and strings and stuff all over the place because they'd be halfway into a bar and then they'd have to stop. so they created their own version of garage which was more stripped back to allow their voices to be heard better. they also just wanted it to sound ruder to reflect their lives in rough council estates, while garage was all about luxury and diamonds and champagne and shit. it's not hip hop. they're just mcing
>>
http://youtu.be/CmC62Eg82E8
R horsies bleep?
>>
>>51229998
well experimental is stepping away from the core elements of a genre, grime at its simple core elements is best.
>>
>>51231710
yes normal flac and 24 bit

which one you want ill get it, since i seem to not be seeding anything anyways

only thing ill up though my speeds not good anyways

and i was more asking which releases should i get personally cause i never looked into either label
>>
