What albums feel like winter? Is winter always bleak? Are there any falling in love during winter type albums?
You could argue pick related is autumn, but it's the best I got.
Always bleak.
I've always considered White Winter Humnal to be evocative of winter, and subsequently Ragged Wood has always reminded me of the feeling of the beginning of spring, especially with the lyric:
"The world is alive now, in and outside now"

I only listen to drone/black metal in the winter, it's the only thing that seems appropriate

GOAT winter band
Shogaze is also really cozy in the winter, specially in Nothing But Dream Pop December.
>winter
>bleak
Winter and fall are the fucking GOAT seasons, I don't get why plebs can't see this
Why would they use that painting as an album cover? Shits dumb.

Spring literal best season m8.
Fall runner up but still not as good
Pretty bleak.

Post albums and educate then anon
All of Basinski's Disintegration Loops are perfect winter music
This album is all the childhood wonder of winter as well as the surreal time you spend in a fever because you spent too much time outside.
I mean...yeah.

All of Basinski's Disintegration Loops are actual garbage and you should feel like a shitty person who got hoodwinked by a hack for listening to them during any season.
it's winter... Forever

Why are they garbage?

You don't need albums to appreciate the falling leaves and snow, friend. But anyway a lot of the albums I associate with them either
A) nobody has ever heard of or would want to listen to
B) aren't too particularly fall or winter-y
C) are just shit like Helplessness Blues and Illinoise, not really worth mentioning

>A) nobody has ever heard of or would want to listen to
try me. I'm not afraid of new things anon

>Falling leaves and snow are somehow more patrician than summer sun and spring rains
Ah the fallacies of melancholy
such a comfy, snuggling-in-bed-after-trudging-through-a-killer-blizzard album

Pic related and Gretchen Parlato Live in NYC are prime fall-core, but actually work pretty well in both. Alternatively, if you DO wanna go with that sort of bleak Walter-White-alone-in-a-cabin-in-the-last-few-episode feel, try Eivind Aarsaet - Dream Logic.
Nest - Retold
ambient piano modern classical good stuff

Except that stuff's not melancholy, anon, winter and fall make me bubbly, while spring and summer generally leave me pretty meh. Rain is always good, though. But sunshine just makes me feel bad. It's not even necessarily sunshine, but just days with barren, cloudless skies. It's like a desert hanging over you, it makes the whole world around you ugly.

>But sunshine just makes me feel bad
Weird, considering sunlight increases production of dopamine and should make you feel good. Maybe you're defective. How patrician!
Also most important thing is your subjective tastes are not objective facts.

this...isn't an album cover is it?
dreary and slow
>>51197208
Well, neither are yours. I never saw a Christmas special where the snowfall made everyone stay inside and brood all day
shittiest album cover ever but the album is probably one of the best folk albums of the 21'st century. if not, the best.

That album is a summer album though Anon.
