Well then, gentlemen.
best dubstep out this year?
i liked everything by last & gantz + waiting on that new mikael
The artikal comp was good, the last tempa allstars too.
Also the new Sleeper on Chestplate. https://soundcloud.com/sleepermusic
And this https://soundcloud.com/indigo-movement/im013-eva808-childhood-balmy
Forgot about these too
It's not on youtube but there's a tune called Muddy on this ep (only on the digital version) that's absolutely amazing. Production levels through the roof.
You've probably heard this one but still
This one is something else on a system.
It's funny how mad the brostep kids are in the comments.
This track on shrooms is the best thing ever, like being lost in some kind of a alien jungle with birds and shit
Looking for techno albums with artwork consisting of a black and white picture of a concrete building
That's my favourite genre of techno
it's on xl recordings third chapter compilation.
i haven't looked into remixes of it, but there's probably someone in this thread that knows a few.
pic related, i don't mind uploading it
Hey /bleep/, have you ever been to Reykjavik? I haven't. But I would like to go there one day.
Yo just trying to figure out like, how come this night at WHP is really big with 'lad' 'alright m8' crews? Someone plaese explain?
its kinda not worth it. or at least a few years ago when i used to live in manchester. even if its a great lineup and you got bare pills its still so full that its hard to enjoy yourself
also you might as well go on your own because as soon as u set foot in the door youre not gonna see your mates until the next day lol
Shit I'm going this Friday to see Caribou Four Tet and Carl Craig. Surely dickheads don't care about that lineup right? Some girl who's into "deep house like" at work has absolutely no idea who they are.
least I'm going illuminaughti teh day after... psytrance lulz
Expect a crowd that's not totally into dance music, but still can appreciate it. And lots of indie gurrls that will make heart shapes with their hands when that overplayed "can't do without you" gets played.
play your corner is one of the sickest tunes i've heard this year. that 2-step in verse 2 that contrasts so well with the groove of the first verse...
Yea that's what I thought be a lot of indie types, not a huge biggie for me though
lmao oh indie gurls!!!
Also Objekt album was pretty good but not as good as the hype made it out to be however I listened to Huerco S. and it blew my mind
I was always a big fan of the cheesy vocal UKG on Locked On as well.
Always love hearing people using Todd Edwards' vocal sample layering style but no one can do it quite as good as him.
Signals is so much better than everything other Grime release this year that it's not even funny. Only these two are possible contenders otherwise.
>tfw no cat to get a shoutout on Surgeon's Rinse show
That was alright.
Demon from Macabre Unit released a free mini-album earlier this year which was alright.
You need Macabre Unit in your life.
My Grime AOTY last year was Riko Dan - Rise of da Farda, but that's mainly because of the vocals. Not sure what I would have for my instrumental of the year, there was some decent EPs/Comps out last year.
That's Harakiri honestly isn't even Grime for the most part. And there's been better experimental Grime out this year.
Still need to listen to the mix this was on.
