New soundcloud thread, others are dead or deleted.
I released an Electro House song recently, very happy and melodic :
I'll try giving feedback to everyone here !
>Experimental folk, singer-songwriter, fusion
Check out this single from my first project:
Full project here:
New tracks coming this month!
Really liking this, gave feedback on SC
Not really my thing, but your songs are nicely produced. I'd say you need more elements and variations in your tracks, but i don't know much about the genres you're making.
I know you from another SC thread :) Nice stuff man
I return feedback.
just listened quickly to a few of ur songs. pretty good but you need to do better voice recordings, really get that emotion in there. Once u started singing louder ur voice got a lot more enjoyable.
It also lacks a bit of character and the production is a bit mushy. Overall pretty good
Majorka, killing it as always. Love the album bro!
>witch house/vapor influence
>ambient, lo fi techno, analogic hardware.
feedback is very appreciated
>lo fi folk, ambient, vaporwave
Returning all feedback on SC
>other weird things
I would love to hear any feedback or criticism you guys got for me! I'll return any comments on soundcloud
Progtool WIP 2.5 (bassline) Was really good, totally whack some hat riddims and toms over the top and a sub bass groove
Interesting stuff. Your chiptunes is very nice.
I made this earlier to pass some time.
what do you think:
i've been working on this for a while kinda
>have no idea what I'm doing
Looking for feedback.
(EQ tips?) (Compression Tips) (Instrument idea's or criticisms?)
(Not sure what Genre i would call it.)
> Deep Bass
dropped an EP recently appreciate the feedback on it! dropping a new track around 300 followers
I think your transitions could be smoother, plus the drums need less grit and to be compressed a bit to give them some punch.
Some nice Pad sounds in the background also wouldn't go amiss...
(Mine - https://soundcloud.com/yukfu-uk/no-need-for-introductions)
>Instrumental Hip-Hop / Future Funk
>indie, dream pop
first release, tell me what you think!
It's pretty sweet to be honest. Filter the low end out of everything except bass instruments. As far as you can before you impact the main part of a sound. This will make your bass hit harder and clear up the mix. Your snare(ish) sound doesn't sound great. Maybe grab some new samples. Try for a thinner snare, more snappy. Otherwise pretty good. I don't normally listen to this kind of music. I'm more progressive house etc
i had to stop listening.
i like it. not big on the mix but musically it's pretty tight
other than the drum samples uses i really like it
i like you. a lot.
followed and liked
Just finished mixing and mastering this. A collaboration. Started recording two days ago and i just mixed and mastered it in the last 4 hours
>ain't no sunshine when she's gone
I'm a student doing a BSc (hons) in audio technology. Music is involved but i avoid it since i'm more of a sound design/foley guy. Ask me anything and i'll do my best to help. I have been engineering on music tracks for years and i'm more than happy to help
Cheers for the feedback. Going back into the project to change up the snare sound, i always thought it did sound quite off, and cheers for the EQ Tip, taken into consideration :)
>funky and psychedelic and glitchy
>dark castle intro
>EAI, free improvisation, piano
>Trying to figure out my own sound
>Trying to come up with a name
Why is it shit? And why did you say "shit EAI" instead of "shit music" or just "shit"?
>an acquired taste
Currently working on a "Djent-ish" song, tell me what you think :)
acoustic folk punk/punk/rap/indie stuff and other things will return feedback
>eerie female vocals
Check out this song I play guitar/bass in. Chopped the drums myself like a bearded woodsman.
>Genre: Toothpicks and golden ratios.
your baby slick remix is pretty awesome
you got a really sick beat going there
really chill stuff a little too repetitive sometimes though
amazing stuff dude, really
> Spanish ballad/ dream pop
>Blaming peoples intelligence as reasons for not liking your music is pretentious as fuck.
>Free improvisation requires absolutely no skill and isn't very interesting imo.
>I think you should learn some music theory and work harder on making songs.
Check out my song, Solace.
thank you kindly bro
can't really say much about yours as I don't speak spanish, but the composition sounds really good, the production on the other hand is a little cheesy tbh, but it's pleasing to the ear nonetheless.
>Downtempo, Trip-Hop, Chillwave
an anon said to fuck with a pokeman song to make it sound like le vaporwave on another thread
does this sound good because idk much about vaporwave
>inspired by n64 and ps1 osts
Just uploaded a dickload of beats that were tied up in a separate project until now
and they're freee yayyy
>Piano with noise
>Chiptune, Orchestra, Guitars
After 2 months I finally managed to get the right sound out while mastering, tell me what you guys think. Will return feedback as well as I can.
>chillwave, dreampop, hypnagogic pop
Really nice voices, the both of you, good instrumentation; electric is maybe a little too prominent in the mix. Not quite sure the lyrics are up to that level of quality, though.
> folk, singer-songwriter
Wrote this last night, love to hear what you folks think of it. Will return follows/feedback on SoundCloud or ReverbNation, whichever you prefer.
Dude that first songs beat is amazing, I love the morbid lyrical content but the lyrics do need to be worked on
Sometimes it distorts a bit but awesome creativity dude
pretty sik melody and its pretty cool when the bass follows it.
"On the Edge":
"Every Lesson Learned":
>I make different music inspired by Cyberpunk & Japan.
> Stoners, improv, experimental, noise, dastardized covers, shitbox remixes
We're here and we're fucked
Singer/Songwriter, looking for feedback, thanks for listening.
That's some pretty cool feedback. Thanks.
>Who the fuck hard pans the 2 main elements of a song to each speaker, thats like 50s faux stereo mixing.
I want my music to sound 2D.
Uhh... So is my music shit or no?
Someone please listen to these and tell me.
I know you think you are making something intelligent but you are really just making random note shit that is talentless and you are trying to cover for it with comments like:
I am not sorry to shit on you because what you are doing is shit. Calling MIDI sequences free-improvisation is just fucking pointless. You are not improvising anything. You are programming random bullshit into a pirated DAW and then asking for credit as a genius improviser. Study music more and post here less.
just reworked one of my oldest tracks for my upcoming tape release
returning feedback & love
An anon on /mu/ inspired me to start working on this, just postesd some of the tracks I've done today.
>Mashup between J Dilla and Death Gips
>I know you think you are making something intelligent but you are really just making random note shit that is talentless
It may sound like random bullshit to you, but trust me - it isn't. And according to what many musicians and music teachers said, I do have a musical talent.
>You are not improvising anything
Actually I am.
>Study music more and post here less.
I will! :)
>Hit me up for collaborations, either as a rapper or a producer I'm down to collab
Leaving feedback on these soundclouds
https://soundcloud.com/mosuee/nihil i finished now my first ambient album.
i couldnt split this in more tracks, sorry
hope u like it, it's very important for me
Start up Indie Label based out of Philly check us out doods. Lots more music to be uploaded soon as our bands/artists start finishing releases.
ALL music is definable in terms of theory. Claiming that your music is not quantifiable in theoretical terms is the same thing as admitting that you have no formal or informal education in music.
This is me. I'm going back through the thread now to check out peeps who posted before me. I'll leave feedback on soundclouds.
That's the problem with (popular conceptions of) electronic music. Everyone and their brother thinks they can do it because it's 'just computers,' but most everyone sucks at it because they don't know jack about theory.
Unless you have an (extremely rare, mind you) natural ear for composition, e.g. The Beatles, if you don't know theory, you're either going to be boring as hell, or you're going to be awful.
I agree. A person doesn't have to know all the theoretical terminology to be good. But you can't make claims about the non-randomness of your shitfest without being able to back it up with the terminology. Comments like >>49696249 just make you look like an idiot.
New Track UP NOW!!!
I actually compose just with my ear but well, I have classical music education which started since I was four years old..
I've taken all the theory courses but I still think you don't compose with theory but with your ear and hearth.
This was my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/kasvihuone/dragonlord
You don't even know what the word "improvisation" means. Poor you.
>Everything is definable in terms of theory.
This sentence can't be right. You should learn some more about logic. Here's a nice starting point.
>better review some other stuff
This guy is right.
i dont know shit about music theory, i just make music because i feel like it.
>What does a Polish philosopher have to do with music theory?
>This sentence can't be right. You should learn some more about logic. Here's a nice starting point.
Made this in a few hours just for fun.
I've entered a remix contest, if anyone has an Indaba account you can vote today, otherwise everyone else can vote from tomorrow. I'd be very honoured if you voted for me but don't feel like you have to.
>electronic, melodic, heavy
Returning all feedback and stuff!
This will rustle some jimmies but if all you have on you SC page is some remixes or some chopped / screwed shit of some original artists work then I don't even bother listening. Rearranging somebody else's track like it's a god-fucked Quentin Tarrantino movie IS NOT creating music. I know some of you actually create your own shit AND do remixes. If I'm on a page like that I usually scroll through and listen to the original work while ignoring the remixed shit. I just don't give a fist fuck for someone who cannot even try to make their own shit. There are too many artists on here who actually do create original tracks. I would rather listen to them than to waste my time on wastes of time. I don't give a fuck what you think about it. I don't care if your hemorrhoids start bleeding or your shingles flare up or even if you get cancer from reading this. In fact for those of you this applies to I hope you get mad as fuck. I hope your shitter shatters.
Check out my remix of Hella hoes!
>southern hip-hop, Memphis rap, DJ Screw themed beats/instrumentals
Not on soundcloud yet, but please check this out
>sample based noisy eastern european industrial krautsomething
voices distort here and there but like the mood you set
I like the reverb you use in summer street exploration but i think you need more ideas for the melody portion
great voice effect man awesome song
great production but the ideas are a little unclear. Maybe adding stronger riffs on the guitar
>sadkid, bedroom beats, summer bullshit
Just finished this track for a new compilation, would love some feedback.
>this one is rock
>this one is acoustic alternative
i rapped over have a nice life - the future. please check it out.

>guitar pop demo
>working on full length with professional engineer
Let me know what you think ^^
Fav stuff in here
>glitch, expressionism, oil, elbow jive
Thank you for listening.
Thank you so much! Yeah, usually takes me a couple hours to write a song, and then a couple more to bang out some recordings. Once in a while it takes me longer--the one I wrote before this took about three revisions--but this one went pretty smoothly.
Glad you liked it!
>natural ear for composition
Song I'm currently working on, tell me what you think :)
chopped up guitars and field recordings with an OST influenced "drop"
>Harsh Noise Wall, Field Recording

Just did a new track today, feedback is always appreciated
yo im dropping a new album on http://dreamcatalogue.net/ on the 16th
I love you all and I'm glad you make music but I'm very tired and posting in this thread despite adding nothing.
I'm already following and familiar with a fair amount of you guys. Keep up the good work.
To the people who make music I don't particularly enjoy, keep doin it if it makes you happy, and immediately stop if it doesn't. You know who you are.
>Lots of piano, keyboard, and guitar instrumentals
>Tons of blues, jazz, and rock covers
>Many random songs done for people on the internet
>Some comedy songs too
Just posted some piano and keyboard tracks. I'm up to 988 tracks, and don't know what I'm gonna do when I hit 1000 but I want that thousandth track to be the biggest of titties. It will probably be something just kind of alright that gets few plays and no feedback. I'm okay with that too.
You all have a good night.
>screwed pop songs, vaporwavish
>who knows really
>acoustic folk fantasia
if you are into progressive trance/house

shits making me feel all celestial and shit. 'Going Home Without You' makes me feel like im about to die and my life is flashing right before my eyes but it also makes me want to bake a chocolate cake in the harsh, cold winter and cuddle around the fireplace.

Thank you, kind anon! Listening to your stuff, I couldn't help but notice that I think your soundpicture feels somewhat flat - Maybe you need to EQ it somewhat more? Otherwise it's bretty gud.
New track, actually going for a relaxing, ethereal sound instead of generic dark ambient, would love feedback.
Let me know what you think of the remix thanks! :D
>three new finished tracks up, plus a bunch of demo type joints
>would super appreciate feedback on any of the new shit
>will follow and listen, etc. (even though i'm probably already following half of the people in the thread)
Got loads of free time now so I'm thinking of doing some new black metal/shoegaze stuff. Anyone interested in collaborating?
I do lots of stuff. I try different styles and dick around with synthetisers and drums machines. My best track is this nu disco thing right here.
