What do you think of Zappa's works with The Mothers? Freak Out is a premature masterpiece.
>>49128356
Love Scott Walker, I was thinking on adding Scott 3 to the top but had to let him out. Faust's self-titled is overrated, we all know they peaked at Faust IV ;)
>>
>>49128360
Pretty much the same thing as rating, to me. I'd still have trouble remembering everything I'd want to include anyway
>>
>>49128412
i haven't listened to a whole lot of zappa, and i think the only album i've listened to him with the mothers of invention is we're only in it for the money, which had a few good songs (who needs the peace corps being one of my fav songs of the 60's) but on the whole felt like a cheesy monty python skit turned into an album. eventually i'll expand on my zappa knowledge one day but right now i've been really interested in 80's music
>>
>>49128493
Oh, I see. Freak Out sounds cheesy too, but it''s worth the listen.

The amount of music put out during the 80s makes it more easy to find average and shitty stuff so I prefer exploring the 60s and 70s were experimentation was in nearly every record and there's more good stuff burying the bad ones.
