Man i've been trying to get these fucks to care about the Missing Notebook Rhymes but fuck 'em. At least reddit actually talks about new music. What'd you think of last week's Jay Electron feature?

Also am I the only person that wants Death Grips ft DOOM? Ride is one of the best lyricists right now and it'd be cool to hear him do a more traditional rap verse.

The track KMD right? Yeah I really liked it, the Islamic prayer sample was kinda odd but worked in a weird way.

Not bad
most oversaturated genre at the moment? i'm gonna go with hip-hop
dance music is too diverse to chalk down to one genre (and generally speaking there's more good than bad, as opposed to hip-hop, in which there doesn't seem to be a filter)

I agree with Hip-Hop, and I love a lot of it
Indie rock is bad. Rock music as a whole is bad and encourages non-innovation. Rock usually has to borrow from other styles of music like industrial and jazz to become interesting. The best rock is just straight up pop rock like Paul McCartney. But indie soft rock is unapologetic nu male pitchfork toothless garbage.

All genres suck and all scene queens are faggots.
Thoughts on the new foster the people album?

The little peep album
I really dislike 21p and little peep, but I've heard less of the latter so hey it might surprise me
21p just because I hate everything Peep stands for and his fans are insufferable

Anyone over the age of 25 and still have dreams of making it relatively big? Tell me some stories.
No, I just aim for a sense of fulfillment through my music these days. Fame, success, and fortune don't matter to me any more; I only care about feeling satisfied and happy through my musical ventures.
It would be awesome to be a successful jazz musician. While most consider the genre "dead" there are still plenty of successful players who get to play all over the world and make enough money to live comfortably in NYC, even if they'll never be super rich.
It would also be nice too because the top jazz musicians can still go out in public pretty anonymously and nobody recognizes them, but at jazz clubs and shows there is still a small but dedicated core of fans who will recognize and revere the best players.
