there are a lot of posts that are really wrong on /mu/, but you made a good shot at the all time top charts - Sabotage is great and even if you don't like that style of their music it's still easily better than half of tracks.
if you want to go Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique works just fine - for a classic album it's really short on stand-out tracks to begin with - according to Spotify the tracks on the Anniversary Edition that are more popular than the trend of "first tracks get listened to most" or rather "tracks that get listened to more than the previous track over 30 seconds" are: Shake Your Rump, Hey Ladies and Shadrach - all pretty lackluster individual tracks
I could certainly live with someone claiming that Shadrach is the worst track on Paul's Boutique over the ridiculous claim of Sabotage being anywhere near the worst track on Ill Communication

Yeah sure they can play their instruments pretty well, but those vocals and the personality of the group is pure cringe

Am I the only one who thinks this thing kicks MV's ass? MV is a classic, don't get me wrong, but Piñata is a fuckin 10/10 masterpiece, honestly.

Is this another video where everyone was wrong except for him?
According to science, 14 years old is the specific age at which you start to discover/form your musical preferences.
What were you listening to at 14 years old?
Do you still listen to those bands or genres?
What were you listening to before 14?

Personally I was getting into metal and punk, mostly through pop-punk and nu-metal.
And no, thankfully I don't listen to those genres anymore. I listened exclusively to metal and punk for nearly a decade so I had more than enough of those two genres. I wouldn't branch out to unrelated genres until my early 20s.
When I was a kid I would just listen to whatever was on the radio, I preferred alternative rock over anything else. My first casette tapes were Green Day's Dookie and Weezer's pinkerton.

Pop punk is good though
Protip: if you want people to respond to your thread make it short
the first two sentences would have been fine
At 14 I was into classic rock and progressive rock for the most part. But it was also around the time I discovered krautrock, ambient and IDM
fantano dropped the ball
nice MS paint faggot lol
That's honestly the score it deserves. Maybe a 7. Definitely pleasant but ultimately falls short for the most part
You guys still post about him daily? This place never changes.

This is the best Pink Floyd album because it's the only one that hasn't had a better version made by another band. Prove me wrong.

Is this a modern day classic?
Considering that you're the only one still talking about it, No, it's not.
>>68264606
What makes you say that?
No. It's got some good instrumentals but come on. Its just more of the same watered down OVO sweatshop bullshit that somehow stumbled upon critical acclaim.
