A lot of times I think if I had nothing else to listen to for the rest of life but this I'd be fine

Me too
It's my favorite album.
If Corgan had off'd himself after this or even after Adore, he would've been Kurt Cobain tier and plebs + /mu/ would not stop sucking his dick desu.

I laughed way too hard at this.

Why do people come here to a specialist music board to post about music you could talk to anyone online or IRL about?
>>68376740
The hostile environment, elitism, and unfriendly ppl here are more to my taste. I despise circle jerks
>hi, welcome to /mu/
>oh, you don't like simplistic acoustic strumming with bland poetry mumbled over it? Well fuck right off then
I've been here since 2010 and I don't know why I keep coming here. I can't talk about the kind of music I like with anyone else, and other websites have censorship through voting. But I'm just not into folk and emo, sorry. I like my music to have more life, inspiration and complexity to it.

>anyone online or IRL about?
like who?
Honestly revisited this and I didn't know how much of an emotional wreck it was. Sure it's not suicidal or anything but it's painfully awkward, bratty and standoffish. It describes an awkward phase everyone went through and instead of being an edge lord, it just decides to run away and cry.
I had no idea this album was so pathetic and wimpy because all the songs are really catchy and energetic. Honestly an 8/10
Green Day is legit
>>68376650
Honestly their one of the bands I listen to when I come down from my obscure, pretentious experimental music taste
>>68376633
Green Day's early albums are all about that awkward, "I have no idea what I'm doing" phase we all go through. Kerplunk especially hits home with those lyrics, in songs like Android and No One Knows. Would definitely recommend that album if you want some vintage Green Day, OP.

The picture was merely a representation of how I feel.
That being said, you've triggered the demon possessing me and he says Lucifer left on his own free will, and that you shouldn't put so much belief into what the light says because it's full of bullshit.

Or improved it?

i dont like any of the music my friends like anymore
nobody lets me play music at gatherings anymore
i think they only invite me around out of habit now

>>68376467
you get invited. that's all that matters
just be sure you're a patrician and not a contrarian. You can still enjoy shit music, especially when drinking
thoughts?
>>68376353
agreed?
The same can be said for many rappers though so I don't get why you're singling A$AP out
you're not wrong, but who needs substance? And why would you try to get into ASAP looking for substance?
in art, having a unique style is substantive

ITT: Say something critical about a favorite music related thing of yours, could be a genre, album, song, artist, etc.
Live folk music can be horrendously boring.
soul can be very one-note especially in album form
The other seven tracks on Pygmalion (my favorite album) are great, but they don't live up to the potential hinted at with Rutti and Blue Skied an' Clear.
