Grimes stopped dying her hair neon blue, and all interest in it ceased.
I'm serious.
It died off when it thoroughly expressed the musical ideas that it was capable of expressing. Theyre called microgenres for a reason.
Something that shouldve happened with vaporwave.

I think the interviews are too hard. I had to list file formats from lowerst to highes quality. My mistake was switching places two formats, which had 1kbps difference. And I failed. Say whatever you want but some understanding from the mods would have been appropriate

Can people please recommend me the heaviest and most brutal metal? Visceral, nihilistic.
I like Nile, Necrophagist, Meshuggah... I like tech death but a lot of come across isn't brutal enough or too cheesy.
Please use this thread to chat about brutal metal.

>searching for good rap
That's where you went wrong anon.
Also, portuguese is a really hard language to achieve a good combination of flow, speech figures and meaningful speech. That's why most of our contemporaneous musicians either sing in english or just sing plain nonsense about easy themes.
just post some of your favorite bands or music or whatever the fuck who cares

I fell in love with exotica recently. Martin Denny, Esquivel, Les Baxter. It's all sexy and fun af
Okay.
Smoove + Turrell is a band from North East England that creates a style of music they describe as 'Northern Funk'. The duo's contemporary sound fuses a variety of musical genres including funk, Northern soul, hip-hop and jazz.

Listening to this album in the back of a car coming back from a long road trip as the sun set was one of the most powerful musical experiences I have ever had.
The punk movement in the late 70s-early 80s was sure a boomtime for rock ladies. Wonder how that came to be?

>Punk
The Runaways [Mercury, 1976]
Don't let misguided feminism, critical convolutions, or the notion that good punk rock transcends ordinary musicality tempt you. This is Kim Fowley's project, which means that it is tuneless and wooden as well as exploitative. How anyone can hang around El Lay this long without stealing a hook or two defies logic. The answer must be sheer perversity, which in of itself makes for the only truly perverse thing about the man. C-
Queens of Noise [Mercury, 1977]
I'll tell you what kind of street noise these bimbos make--when the title cut came on, I thought I was hearing "Evita" twice, only I kept wondering why the singer wasn't in tune. C-
Waitin' for the Night [Mercury, 1977]
This band surprised me live--nowhere near as willing to pander sexually as their publicity suggests, and Kim Fowley contributes his first decent tune since "Alley Oop". If anyone does guitar-waving rock, I'd just as soon that it be girls. But Joan Jett's inability to bellow through the wall of noise (she shrieks flatly instead) suggests that there are more generous musical role models for human beings of all sexes than Aerosmith. C+
The Best of the Runaways [Mercury, 1982]
Forget the title--if Kim Fowley knew how to make a decent Joan Jett album, he would have done the deed in 1976. C-

Better than Merzbow at least.

>I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIIIIIIIIIII
what did he mean by this?
he loves jesus christ
The whole album is directed towards the second coming of Jesus Christ, incarnated as two people. This part of the song is to let these people know they are loved as they go through the difficult process of becoming transfigured.
he wants to suck your dick
So /mu/, what are your favorite minimalist album covers?
