Whats song has given you the biggest emotional reaction? Your hand in mine for me.

First Breathe After Coma for me, I just love the way the guitar pulses from a guy in coma into his wakingness. Then the whole song just explodes into a cloud of driving guitars, especially the part where the guitar starts tremolo picking and bounces around the stereo, that one is pure magic. It just reeks so much of happiness and optimism. In fact, the cover art is just so desperate for it. I love it so much.

What album did you lose your music virginity to and get started on the path to patrician taste?
>>68381750
Probably OK Computer by Radiohead, it just blew my mind when I first heard it and in result I was seeking out stuff I would have never checked out otherwise.

>>68381750
Funny enough, the first song I heard that was truly patrician was It Took the Night To Believe
What are some good albums for INTPs?
But us INTPs do feel. We just don't get feelings from most of the same things others do.
Some of my favorites are
Nero's Day At Disneyland - From Rotting Fantasylands
Dimmu Borgir - Abrahadabra
The Avalanches - Since I Left You
Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Susumu Hirasawa - Technique of Relief
Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness
Ladytron - Velocifero
Gas - Pop

Don't be autistic. It's autistic enough to use the MBTI, at least be the right kind of autistic and try to use it properly.
You feel the same shit as everyone else. You perceive, interpret, and store it slightly different from other people. That doesn't make you robots. It just means that your weakest personality function is extraverted feeling, making it difficult for you to get your emotions across to other people as well as having more difficulty in understanding the emotions of other people. ISTPs hypothetically have the same inferior function and they aren't robots.
Anyway, Aphex Twin is by far the most INTP musician to ever live.

Yeah, and Loveless just pretty much instantly clicked for me.
What happened to passable top 40 alt rock?
EDM became the cool thing. There's still top 40 alt rock from time to time but little to none is passable
yeah I don't know why people lament bands like my chemical romance and fall out boy so much I mean they weren't that good but I miss when they could play emo influenced music on the radio

It's alright, I think it's a better album overall than Viet Cong but Viet Cong had better songs, nothing on Preoccupations touches Continental Shelf, Silhouettes or Death
>>68381131
Public strain > Viet cong > preoccupations
At first I didn't like it but I think it's pretty good now. Vocals are worse but the instrumentation is a nice change from their previous stuff. It's good to see they aren't making the same album over and over again as they could easily do and still have a fanbase
It grew on me. I really like it.
