New Beck tune:

I like this a lot. Seems like Wow is going to be a one-off on this album.
It's a pretty good track and I liked Wow and Dreams too but I don't think this album's going to be near as good as his previous work.
Beck hasn't made a bad album so I'm not too worried. But I wish he was working with Danger Mouse or the Dust Brothers again instead of Greg Kurstin.

nice
the other new songs were ok pop songs but nothing amazing

Because Pitchfork loves BBC
They've been on a roll with the past 2 albums, but the singles for this one are kinda meh. Is it gonna be shit?
>>74740021
I hope not, but I love them so much I'd still buy it even then

Life really is strange /mu/. I was the turbo autist who samefagged that thread all day looking for a song I remember as such.
https://vocaroo.com/i/s07SbV2jQsQH
Turns out I probably heard it as far back as 97, and after having it tucked in the back of my head for all this time and listening to a lot of music and just figuring one day i'll run into it I end up finding it on the day I come to you for help by accident later that night. Defeated in my search I sit down to watch Human Traffic (1999), just another new movie, just another night, probably seen thousands of them at this point and what do you know but the universe drops a big fucking weird one on me and has like the first fucking track that rocks up be fucking it. Not surprised no one knew it as I checked the archive for a dload and it's only even been mentioned like once. Sorry to blogpost but it was bizarre to say the least and is another one of those moments where life really does feel like a simulation. Goddamn.
Behold. Nightmare by Brainbug.

I guess I shouldn't expect anyone to be amazed. You are all constructs of my mind after all. This track is da shit though.

Searching through blood and bones for my brother... He was in Canada....
Any recommendations for speakers within the 2 to 300 price range? Had my eye on Q Acoustic 3020's but I keep seeing heavy suggestion to use stands for them, which is not happening.

Honest to God I cannot say enough good things about the JBL LSR 305. Best speakers for under $300 you'll ever buy. Check out any review of these things and they'll agree
Looking for something good like image, doesn't necessarily need to be modern just needs to be good. Trying to get into the genre and so far have found guys like Jamie XX and Lory D and enjoy them a lot

I can't be the only one who makes intricate narrative driven playlists that are sometimes densely edited to make transitions feel smoother between songs, making the playlist an experience, and never too long, at most 60 songs, but usually less. Can I? I've talked to my friends about it and they've actually made some after I recommended it to them, but I know I can't be the only one. Right?

Is there anything that sounds similar to pic related? I'm talking about its lofi, very loose and playful sound.

John Fruciantes first solo album sounds like this. But if Ween did nothing but heroine. If you haven't listened to it I highly recommend it.
>>74739253
I'll definitely check it out.

Except not playful at all, half of that album sounds like pain
