absolute pleb
>listening to music on youtube
Y'all fucking plebs
>>68854695
one of these is not like the other
>liberal calls an album "powerful"
is this supposed to be "relatable"
>>68854197
no, it's just something music related that bugs me.
its usually just a buzzword for a shitty album that's made by a black person that has nothing going for other than it talking about how hard black people have it.
it's a concept that's been done over and over without anything new but without fail music reviewers fall for it every time.
>He never got gutpunched by an album
Faggot
Anyone obsessed with Pet Sounds like I am ?
Can't stop listening to it lately, it's just pure genius.
I enjoyed it before, but i learned about the story of how Brian made it by himself and all (didn't know anything about that before), and revisiting it while knowing the story it feels even more brilliant.
What a great fucking album
Also, do we all agree that :
Overall, The Beatles > The Beach Boys
But Pet Sounds > any Beatles album
Not just Pet Sounds, Beach Boys. Once you get into them, you just can't stop listening
I'm pretty much in the same situation as you OP. I didn't even really like it that much the first time I listened to it. Relistened after reading up on the story behind it and realized how dumb I was for not appreciating it sooner.
Never listened to any Beatles album desu so Beach Boys are automatically better to me.

>but i learned about the story of how Brian made it by himself
Oh he played all the instruments?
What's up /mu/, next week I'm going to see Swans in concert.I heard you kind of need to prepare for them, especially that they're loud as fuck and Gira will stop playing if you dance. How do I not spill my spaghettis?
>Gira will stop playing if you dance
what the fuck?
>Gira will stop playing if you dance.
Here's an idea: Fuck the pretentious twat and don't go
>>68852881
>>68852904
I don't even dance so that's not a problem. I'm kind of scared of Gira in general, like you could say something wrong, and the old man will fight you or some shit.
Hey /mu/,
I'm going to be interviewing Piero Scaruffi in a few days time for my radio show. He's going to be picking the music, too.
Anybody have anything they would want to ask him? Keep it music related.
Already going to be asking him about a lot of new music that I want to know what he thinks of (especially all the stuff he's put as "not rated but enjoyed"), so don't need to say those.

Is he worth getting into? Where should I start?
yes, unlike a lot of artists reddit and moo praise, sufan is deffinelty worth his hype. Age of ADZ is his absolute best imo.
Michigan -> illinoise -> carrie and lowell
If you're a folk guy
Age of adz -> debut -> swan songs
If you're more of an electronic fella

I tried re-mixing some old songs I recorded, do they sound decent?
>>68844814
just recorded or wrote as well? regardless i like these songs anon, v comfy. the guitars might be panned a bit too far either side but it's hard 2 tell without hearing it more closed.
on another note does any1 have any recommendations for a saxophone vst
Just a reminder that if you post a clyp in here and people don't comment on it, it doesn't mean it's bad, it usually just means it's to mainstream or too good and that you probably have a future in music compared to most of the bitter losers on here.
