I want to get into these guys. I like TMBG so I figured I'd get into another quirky rock duo. Where do I start?

The Mollusk, then Chocolate and Cheese and Pure Guava. Definitely start with the Mollusk. Go anywhere after that
The Mollusk.
Alternatively, their first album and then continue chronologically.

you'll fuck it up anon, that's how shoegaze boys work
shit genre shit girl
try to convince me this isn't the best rock band of the last 30 years
They aren't rock band
but fugazi is the best band
Best King Crimson album coming through.
I prefer Larks' Tongues, but Discipline was fantastic. The song Discipline is among their greatest songs. The interlocking guitars in that track are just perfection.

>Spencer Nilsen - Sonic CD (US PC Version) (1996) [320]
>Video Game Soundtrack, Synthpop
My rip of the PC version of the Sonic CD game, which will play the game's soundtrack when inserted into a CD player or computer. Only side notes, I didn't include the first track (it's the data track, which is 19 minutes of data; my computer wouldn't allow me to rip it). Speed Shoes and Invincibility have a CD error that has the last bit of the song play on loop for 15 seconds, and Metallic Madness: Past has a CD error which plays a loud click at the start of the track (both of these problems are on every copy of the CD, don't worry).

can someone upload Madlibs Medincine Shows? Archives links are dead
Why is post rock so dead?
crescendo core is killing the genre
it stifles creativity and makes a very broad gerne (post-rock) into a formulaic genre
>>68880965
same reason prog died. it developed a specific sound. it became an actual identifiable genre instead of a general approach to making music. too many unimaginative artists who don't understand that it isn't "experimental" in the slightest to be a carbon copy of another band that is considered experimental
>>68880965
Godspeed killed it with all their crescendo shit

add an 808
>>68880220
Good base going on, add more elements as it goes on.
Make something a bit wider it sounds flat and work on the sound design a bit more.
We're back making another album. Once again no genre is set. All tracks will be due at 9 PM EST and mild quality control is in place (no noise bombs, meme sample spamming, etc.)
Dubs = a track name
Trips and title track = album name
24 and 87 = album cover
Good luck!
Forgot my trip, confirming that thread is real.
It's lit
Penish lele penish
I recently listened to pic related. It's probably the most coherent concept album I've ever listened to. Each track seems like a number in some grand dystopian Broadway show, I passively imagine imagery as listening to the album. Is gud
>most coherent concept album I've ever listened to
listen to The Wall
>>68878482
I understand, but for DD it seems that it's strong in the sense that every song is best used within the context of the album, where The Wall still (at least for me) shake the feeling of being song after song rather than one narrative.
