What did you guys think of this album?
Aoty shame joyce manor wasn't that good, otherwise it would have been year of pop punk and comebacks
i like the cover
the music is not my thing
>>68950034
I agree, it's my album of the year. I thought the Joyce Manor was pretty decent actually, but it didn't blow me away.
>>68950046
Understandable, I've been a jeff rosenstock fan since the bomb the music industry days, his music isn't for everyone. Funny though, I'm actually not a huge fan of the cover.
You can keep your kanyes, your indie rocks, your grimes, your simple pop "music"
I'll always have classical
HELL YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>68949752
this is dumb, there is a lot of great music that isn't classical. (proip: /mu/ only likes kanye ironically)
>>68949762
this is just fucking awful
>>68949879
are you actually retarded?
When was the last time electro - hip-hop made an appearance in the mainstream?
electro was never mainstream
How do you define electro?
>>68949639
>what is Planet Rock and a ton of other early-mid 80s hip-hop
>What is all that southern hip-hop miami bass stuff like "Whoomp There It Is" and "My Boo" that were big in the 90s

my fave song from that incredible album
>>68949600
yep I love that track.
I've only really appreciated the first few tracks though since I usually change albums when she starts singing in english.
Are there any other standouts later on?
Death in June is the WWE of neofolk

>>68949415
wtf does that even mean
>>68949435
are you dense
>>68949415
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>tfw started getting into classical about a year ago
>tfw my obsession with this music has grown to the point that i'm unable to enjoy contemporary music, no matter how obscure or ''patrician'', because it's all shit compared to classical
Here's a tip:
Get laid you fat piece of shit.
Same here but with IDM
rec me some composers
i want avant shit like Schoenberg
Will she ever release new music?
dude she died
where the hell have you been?
>>68949157
She released that album as Helen last year. It was alright, but pretty bland and not the type of music that I love Grouper for. I hope she goes back to focusing on ambient stuff similar to A I A on her new album. Ruins was beautiful though.
>>68949217
yeah but when is she going to release something
every day im getting more and more depressed and feeling less and less like myself and becoming more and more unlikable to my friends and i've decided im going to isolate myself from almost everyone i care about for my sake and theirs i feel feel unmotivated in everything i do and im constantly questioning if ill ever contribute anything valuable to society and i miss my girlfriend but i dont even think i love her anymore i just want a comfortable body here to complain to

After 15 years of my time listening to aphex i finally found out that the song "Flim" is not "Film" as i tought it was for all this time.
I'm fucking mad.
I found that out a year or so ago. The realization was agonizing.

Split up from my woman of five years. Still love her but had to do it because she was making me feel suicidal. I thought I could fix her but I couldn't.
