what are the chances that Brand New would cancel a show because of the election? I don't know what their stances are, but artists have cancelled shows before due to political reasons, and I'm seeing them in Pennsylvania on Saturday
Quite thinking about Brand New it doesn't help you as a person. I've been there it's unhealthy.
Theyre a shitty band anyway
>>68969817
No they're the only good thing related to post-hardcore, great music.
Why do almost all weebs listen to metal?
Is this fact a validation that only manchildren like metal?
Really makes you think...
haha i dont
I thought weebs just listened to anime ops and game music
Most weebs I know listen to techno quite religiously.
Can we please have a prog thread? Pretty please?
could you have picked a worse picture of king crimson, OP?
That's the most embarrassing picture of KC I've ever seen. I didn't want to know Fripp was so hairy.
Okay
Guys I want to get into beat making, so which one is best to start out with?

Depends on what you're making/needing/is more comfortable. It's worth remembering that all MIDI controllers are just workflow items at the end of the day since everything can be done with mouse and keyboard.
If you're focussing on percussion, sampling, trigger events etc. the MPD is probs better. Pads are very nice.
Again, depends on preference, workflow and what will most efficiently facilitate what you're after musically.
>>68969575
Also if you're only just getting into it learning the workflow and capabilities of your chosen DAW is far more important, as well as being familiar with what sounds are at your disposal.

I'm looking into making old school beats.
so they're probably gonna be quite sample heavy, and another thing that appealed to me on the mkii is the synth, where i can also produce basslines

Celebrate the beaners and obnoxious celebrities leaving the country?
Listen to a shitty album where most of the songs were ripped off better bands? I'm not really sure how that will help, but okay....

I just got into Knedrick. Was TPAB a challenging listen for anyone else? I think it's going to take a while for it to grow on me.
It's definitely less poppy and less accessible then GKMC, but give it a few more listens. It's one of the greatest albums in hip-hop history, and without a doubt a 10/10. When it clicks, it really fucking clicks.
>>68968743
This >>68968765
give gkmc a try for sure, tpab is probably kendrick's best album so far, its one of the best hip hop in this generation
>>68968787
I fell in love with GKMC. I really love that album and made the mistake of expecting more of it

>bonus track is a variation of some song of the album
> bonus track
this is patrician though. why would you want to hear some shitty throwaway that doesn't fit with the album after you heard an album you liked?
alternate takes and remixes of the songs is the best form of a deluxe/special release
>bonus track is best song on the album
post south korean stuff that doesn't fall under the umbrella of kpop. I'm curious to see what this nation has to offer in terms of actual music
