Did 10, they all sold out. Did 10 more, also sold out.
Going to do 15 more and that's all folks.

Nice beat. You'd like RAMONA, from Kill Bill, it's a really solid album. Your stuff inmediatly reminded me of his. Always see you in BC Threads, but had never listened to your stuff.

so are we going to have /mu/ radio listenalongs in december or something cause that would be coool if someone figured that out
are we doing the whole month like last year?
that was pretty overboard
>>69027255
dream pop december? if so, we gotta organize that soon.
>>69027255
>>69028238
I think it would be better to just have like a week of listenalongs abd just discuss what albums we want to listen to that week every day until then
Is Alcest the best french band of the decade?
>>69036544
of course, the fact that it's the only one you know has nothing to do with it (your taste is so great that the simple thought of you missing out on one single good some french album that came out in this decade is hilarious)
>>69036544
the best french band of the decade is peste noire
>>69036601
Peste Noire is a moron and his music sucks though.

>"The Day the World Went Away", "The Wretched", "Even Deeper" and "La Mer" are all extended mixes, while the opening and closing of each side eliminates the crossfading between songs found on the CD and cassette versions, due to the nature of the vinyl medium. Finally, "Ripe" was shortened by removing the conclusive "(With Decay)" portion of the song.
Neat.
Post your favorite album of the year so far
No overrated /mu/core plz
2016 was lame, but this is awesome.
I want to say Smoove + Turrell or Kid Koala but both were underwhelming so going with this.
idk if greentexts are allowed here senpai, but fuck it I'mma do one anyway, cos I think you guys would like it.
/mu/ is usually where I come to find music that I'll like, but I want you to give me the worst shit you know of rn.

>I hate it
>every time I have a break, I've been adding weird eurodance music to the playlist
>one song at a time
>mainly vengaboys
>been doing this for about a month, still haven't been caught.
>EVERY restaurant in our franchise across the country uses this playlist
>this will hopefully make work hilarious for me
I'm very open for suggestions on what other songs I can ruin my work's playlist with guys, pls come at me
idk this shit makes me want to kill myself, pretty sure it's some bizarre in-joke about nursery rhyme melodies in EDM

I'm looking for an album that evokes the feel of an innocent elf woman or something singing songs of the forest that make me feel better.
Muppetcore general?
johanna newsom
jessica pratt
>>69034636
Joanna Newsom's not comfy enough, she's more of a upbeat and wacky elf.
>>69034838
sprout and the bean is super comfy tho
I come to /mu/ every 3 or 4 months to ask this: does anyone else like Coheed and Cambria?
I'm super into them, read all the comics and everything. Just wondering if anyone appreciates them besides myself.
that reminds me I need to sell that expensive one of theirs issue #2 or something of Armory Wars or whatever
Love me some Coheed. :D
>>69034334

Ableton user here. I was just wondering what I am missing out on in terms of plugins, synths, and effects from other DAW's. I feel that versing myself in different DAWs would allow me to be more versatile in my production. Please discuss! On a journey to become the best producer I can be and I want to be able to make use of all tools that are available to me.
Thanks!
On the contrary, would branching out to other DAW's be counterproductive in the overall production process?
Just not sure what kind of path I should take. There are just so many tools available that I am overwhelmed.
I'm currently trying to find my sound, so to speak, but haven't made much progress regarding making a full on track
Ableton will basically have everything you need to make any sound you want. The difference in DAWs is mostly related to workflow and finding what's comfortable for you. Stick with Ableton if you're enjoying using it.
The one aspect of versatility that it can help to branch out for is dealing with sequenced MIDI audio. In my experience the major DAWs tend to be good for recorded tracks that are essentially finished audio that you then edit, but not as good for tracks where you edit the MIDI data.
If you're into that kind of sound DefleMask is a tracker that can produce a lot of old videogame soundchips. I'd recommend that if you want to produce sequenced audio for that particular sound style. If you're using modern synths, I don't know a ton, but getting a MIDI controller of some kind is almost essential and helps a ton.
FL has the best piano roll in the game, but for everything else, ableton.
Do you even djent?
>>69034157
I hate "Djent" but this album is pretty good so far (listening for the first time now) It just feels like proggy fusion.
>>69034157
aw crap did I fuck up? I listened to 3 or 4 albums that came out on Friday but everything sucked so I didn't get anything.
>>69034216
Gets even better in the latter half.
Almost no djent
Last song aepirophobia is basically jazz i love it
>>69034222
Yeah this just came out, was in the back for most places on friday
>Entain is one of the best VD releases
>Vocalcity is Luomo's best album
>Orbital is comparable to or better than The Orb
>Resident Advisor has even remotely accurate ratings
>Fluxion was better when he was on Chain Reaction
>Too Many Voices isn't that good
>Acid Techno is generally acceptable
>tfw people actually believe this retarded shit
I could go on forever holy fuck
I agree with all of these statements, except that Luomo has released absolutely nothing of worth
>>69034166
enjoy your emotionless and uninspired MIDI-infested garbage faggot
>>69034127
>Entain is one of the best VD releases
entain is his 2nd worst release (his worst release is everything post-2003)
>Vocalcity is Luomo's best album
everything luomo is trash
>Orbital is comparable to or better than The Orb
both are shit
>Resident Advisor has even remotely accurate ratings
ra is the p4k of bleeps, true
>Fluxion was better when he was on Chain Reaction
true
>Too Many Voices isn't that good
scott is a hack
>Acid Techno is generally acceptable
techno in general is not acceptable unless it is fused with superior genres like house or ambient or breakbeat
