come on, try to prove me wrong without mentioning their looks
oh wait, you can't
I'd agree that uv is the best of them but that's about it
And I'm not that familiar with Beyonce or ts
>>69079124
The only issue with this list is that Lana Del Rey has literally no idea what the fuck shes doing.

didnt want to be the one to make the new thread but lbr s/t is a doofus and cant do anything right edition
>>69065225
edm is shit
>>69065434
And that's relevant to this thread how?
Okay, /mu/. I bought a box of old tapes at a yard sale for $5. What's good in this collection? I'm currently listening to some of the classical stuff, but what about the rest? It's mostly 70's/early-80's rock, pop, and country.

Pt. 2:
>>69087968
Fore! and In the Court of the Crimson King stand out.
>>69087968
Tommy and King Crimson definitely. And all the classical stuff.
ITT: Overlooked, excellent albums.
where are the synth heads
I'm here for you my man
I'm a beginner though
>>69087574
I'm not even a beginner yet I just can't wait until I am. Do you have any hardware my manon?
>>69087550
sup
>tfw just wanna play music all day but getting tendonitis in both arms from having to handwrite and type out a million fucking notes and papers
fuck this shit im so over it m8.
what instruments/genres/bands/gigs/jams do you guys do? Anyone live on campus with their instrument?
did the man who invented college go to college?
Yeah man my penis
I bring my acoustic and my electric to campus. Every once in a while I'll play guitar or drums for a jam session but a band has never really formed. fuckin sucks but i'm able to make ambient bullshit in my room
Why do bands even release full length albums anymore? 9/10 times it'd be better taken in smaller chunks, and the songs usually don't have much to do with each other anyway.
>>69087338
Because any band worth listening to focuses on making their albums a cohesive whole that fits together.
>>69087939
This
OP is a plen.
>>69087939
But why does it need to be that long?
Of these washed up has-beens, who is most likely to release a good album in the future? And what are the odds of that happening?
Also which of them will be remembered most fondly in ten years?
Eminem. Campaign Speech was actually an alright song, but I was utterly dissapointed with Shady XV, so I think he's still got in in him, but the chances are slim.
Jay-Z has kind of been off the map, so lord knows what he's doing.
Eminem
probably Eminem
Other than SAWV2, what's some essential /studycore/?
Literally anything without lyrics
BoC
Studying to music is distracting

Holy shit
I'm tearing up
Best album to come out in any of our lifetimes

Then get some stitches! Ha ha!
because of how bad it is, right?
I'm in the process of applying to colleges right now and I have room to apply to a few more schools. Just wondering what school you go to, what your favorite band is, and the neighboring towns scene
I dropped out of school, it was just a bunch of libtards who only listened to vampire weekend, the strokes, grizzly bear, etc. It drove me insane, glad i left.
>>69086340
>Purdue Uni
>The Dillinger Escape Plan
>Lafayette's music scene is extremely small and shitty for the most part
boston college (depicted in the top right of your map there)
the brave little abacus
everyone at this school has bad taste except for the folks in the radio station (wzbc rules) and a select few outside; its just a very normie rich white kid school in a lot of ways
boston has a great DIY scene (two of the best math rock bands in the country, lots of good stuff in other genres) and pretty much every US tour of major acts comes through here so yeah. you gotta know who's who to find DIY shows though so if you end up in school in boston try to find me
hey /mu/ looking for a cheap record player, budget ranging from $130-140. any reccommendations? in toronto, and am a pleb in all things not digitally stored. any help would be appreciated.
>>69086099
You're not going to get anything good at that range, unless you get lucky at a secondhand store.
Save up $300 and get a AT LP-120 like everyone else.
The At LP-120 is $500 in Canada fyi
>>69086134
what is the difference between the AT LP-120 and the 60? I can see the 60 has a better price point but does it have any major drawbacks compared to the 120?
>>69086232
yeah, not looking to spend that much money for this.
