So, the new Dot Guys (・・・・・・・・・) single/LP "Tokyo" leaked the other day. As in the one 70-minute track with three shoegaze movements and ambient interludes in between, and harsh noise for the remaining ~45 minutes. It's been discussed in /shugazi/ a little, but I want to hear what all of /mu/ has to say.
In my opinion it's one of the best shoegaze releases of the year and I'm hyped for what's next from the dot guys. What about you all?

Is it just me or are most albums fucking long as shit these days?
A few years ago I considered 55 mins to be a very long album. Anything longer than that was probably a double album or something experimental. It feels like the past couple years have seen VERY mainstream albums that are regularly well over an hour long.
