Y'all know what I love about this album? It's got these funky ass grooves going on but at the same time when it comes to the rest of the non-rhythm based arrangement it just goes hard with a variety of ambient style textures and melodies. It ultimately sounds like some cool ambient drone funk or something.

Well, it doesn't hurt. I've learned it to help my playing. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it has enhanced my listening. It sorta just gives you a better understanding of the music, and what's going on, and the direction the song will take. Just learn some simple stuff, and if you're interested, keep going. If not, just keep listening.
