wtf i love John Lennon now
what the fuck was he thinking?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-NYWzd7JW8
What do you think? For their first song in 16 years, as someone who's listened to Mars Volta but not ATDI, it's pretty solid
not bad but the track gets crushed by just about anything from In/Casino/Out or RoC for me
feels forced/rushed and politically heavy handed even by ATDI standards
actually listening to Relationship of Command right now to push it out of my head
i like it well enough, cedric can still do the style i see.
When did Indie music die? Is it even alive?
Died when they started signing to major labels
>>69544806
Which kind of "indie" music?
>>69544904
Indie rock, indie pop, indie folk, and all the "indie (insert music genre here)".
Who is the worst rapper in the game right now and why is it J. Cole?
>>69544688

His demo was good. Any trap rapper I wish would die.
>tfw you live in the greatest decade for music to date, with the only arguable exception being the 1960s
>He doesn't know about classical
Its only the best because you can get anything with ease
>>69544617
(modern) classical is the reason why i consider the 1960s to be an arguable exception

Thanksss. I've actually been to Academy Records once before. It was a good selection, but I kinda prefer stores that have new records as well
How come nobody in this board is talking about J.Cole? Dude is putting alot of heart into his music, hell even with the money and the fame he still records his songs on a low budget hotel/appartment.
Check out this documentary from his upcoming album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azC7-tBI6gw

when i first started yes, i loved post-rock and ambient but now like 2/3 of what I listen to is jazz and i don't think i could ever make a jazz record, even if i had all the players i wanted.

I was given a homework assignment to choose a song that perfectly matches the first three pages of "The Hunger Games". Basically something atmospheric and something that sounds District 12, broken and rugged. Any recs? I don't listen to enough music to choose a song

I havent listened to much pop punk since college and this album was really fresh. Lyrics are still relevant to a mid 20s guy and i didnt feel like a retard when i was listening to it. Good album.

Words of advice for people wanting to record in a studio.
What my band does is have something called a "Fuck Up Jar" and every time someone fucks up while recording, they put a dollar in this "Fuck Up Jar" and this goes towards next recording session, promos, etc.
>On average you make around $50-$70
>Mfw the band's Jew makes good financial ideas that fall through
