Thats so erotic
I'm looking for a cheap entry synth to buy relatively soon. I want one I can get some good art-rock, dream pop, and maybe chillwave sounds out of. I just don't know what I should be caring about between everything I'm looking at, monophonic vs polyphonic, etc. I know I'd love an arpeggiator, but that's it
get a midi controller and torrent some software
>>69609529
I have a midi controller and all of the software synths I've used just rub me the wrong way
If you already have a midi controller, I recommend the Korg Volca FM - it's cheap and has a stupid amount of options. I love syncing all of my Volcas together and layering them with vocals/bass guitar/other samples from the Korg Volca Sample.
So I'm making a winter playlist, trying to avoid metal (not that I don't like it, there's just too much).
Recommendations?

Mark Kozelek's last couple albums+his new ones this next year are going to gain appreciation as time goes on and Benjiplebs move to greener pastures
Once HHH kills himself, The Ark Work will become a classic

I could imagine Liturgy becoming a cult hero sort of band. Actually, a lot of artists we ironically like here could well be, like Death Grips (I'm kidding)
How is it that somebody who was in the biggest band of all time could release an album that sounded this raw and honest? It could have been so easy for it to come off as pretentious or disingenuous but it all works incredibly well.
because john lennon is a very good artist and musician
mother and working class hero are the only good songs on there

Hopefully it means hardcore punk will make a comeback and we'll keep getting great stuff like YG's FDT
Aside from Tim Hecker, what is some good "fuzzy ambient" ?
This album doesn't quite have enough movement in the songs to keep my interest but it's good to fall asleep to
pls respond
Imagine people who have not heard their music before.
They must have such inferior taste.

i honestly think he regrets giving mbdtf that low of a score but won't admit it. no way is TLOP on par with it at all
Childhood is idolizing post-rock.
Adulthood is realizing slowcore makes more sense.
t. Fifteen year old who just got out of his post rock """phase"""
I'd say childhood is first wave (Talk Talk, Slint) and third wave (GYBE, Mt Zion, Mogwai) and adulthood is second wave (Tortoise, Cul de Sac, Stereolab) but maybe that was just me.
Adulthood is grasping music theory and realizing that nothing is "patrician" or "pleb", only more or less complex, and you should listen to what you like.
Note, the complexity doesn't determine how patrician the music is, because you fuckers love some basic ass shit that you praise as "patrician".
