Still the banger of the year, no other single can compete
Broccoli desu but i agree it is a flat out banger
This was fucking awful
Is all trap rap like this?
why was 2016 the year of Special Ed rap?
I want to listen to bands that only had a few songs in them, but made sure they were all great.
personal fav
>>69699554
this literally has 74 songs
how does it fit on one cd
>>69699614
They're mostly between 30 and 90 seconds long.
The album is only like 75 mins.
>I like Death Grips
>Death Grips is a good band
>Death Grips is not cringey, edgy, and/or cancer
>>69699532
Niggas on the Moon and Exmilitary is somewhat decent
The rest of their discography is fucking garbage though, Jenny Death is probably the worst album I've listened this year
>I judge a band based on their popularity and a vague generalization of their fans
>>69699640
That's the most tryhard opinion I've ever heard.
It's fucking trash!
>4 mg of klonopin and 2 beers later
This is legit top-10 2016 material.
Did anyone else on /mu/ like it?
>>69699336

>>69699336

what genre is stuff like You Love Her Coz She's Dead and early Crystal Castles?
whatever genre those bands are, I love it and would appreciate recommendations along that line.
Witch House
>>69699475
fuck off I know what witch house is
nu-gaze glitch synth pop. Just check their lastfm pages
Crystal Castles first album wasn't witch house
Find a flaw.
>>69699284
The album sleeve isn't an actual metal box
>>69699284
pop tones
>>69699284
It's not first issue.
Drop whatever you are doing and go listen to this.
You'll thank me later

Why the fuck was Wonderwall on that album but not The Masterplan
South Asian music

today is independence day in bangladesh
sorry I don't have anything to contribute
I like this I guess

Also, Iran had a pretty good funk scene.
Why are female vocals only good when they're by a foreign artist?
Anglo women are only capable of
>Generic sultry voice
>Generic angry tryhard punk voice
>Generic ethereal voice
>>69698881
Because the only women who get to sing in north America are thrashi people who will have a career that I'll last for a year

Is post-hardcore just glorified 'acceptable' screamo ?
screamo is already acceptable
the new youth funeral was great btw
screamo is an extension of emo (emotional hardcore)
so while there may definitely be overlaps in styles and influences, you're dangerously approaching "apples and orange" territory in comparing the two.
>>69698916
wrong, emo stands for emotive hardcore which came from the east coast primarily out of D.C. and eventually getting a chimer, jangler sound in the midwest during the 90's and infusing some power pop chord hooks and pop punk aesthetics. Screamo was during the late 80's, I believe.
Flaming Lips new song is here.
Do you like it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ucmQXY1u4
I'm happy. It seems that for the next album like they've decided to pick up where waiting for a superman left off, and if there's any Flaming Lips song worth mining, it's waiting for a superman.
>>69698721
It's going to be Wayne's Blackstar
>>69699160
the drums in all of these singles have been weeeaakk as hell. nowhere near the bombastic quality of stuff like waiting for superman but instead waynes trying this trap influenced micro beats. only turn off of these tracks imo
What was his fucking problem?
>>69698700
He's worried about Annie.
>>69698700
Their band's only hit was a MJ cover
>>69698700
What's wrong with Vinnie Jones?
