What does /mu/ think about the FAUL conspiracy?
Faul is just the tip of the iceberg.
It isn't a rabbit hole you want to go down.

What does /mu/ listen to when tripping?
Post your best trippy/trance music here.
What do you trip on? Mescaline? Shrooms? LSD? DMT?
>pic related, Shpongle
I like Shpongle. Used to be 80% of what I listened to when tripping. The playlists for my last few trips have been very varied, thought. Some examples:
Aphex Twin (pretty much only Flim cuz that shits beautiful), Bonobo (mostly his first two albums. they have a nice atmosphere and always puts me in a good mood. I don't know it just works.), Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd (kinda cliche I know but it works), Shlohmo, Gold Panda, Teebs, FlyLo (trippy beats are nice), FKA Twigs (sounds like a godess on psychs)
I've taken LSD more than any other psychedelic but last few trips have been on 2C-B
I haven't tripped in some years, but Shpongle was my go-to when doing so. Especially with DMT, their music took me many places. One trip with "Dorset Perception" took me to a middle-eastern desert type place.
Lots of Grateful Dead too.

listening through their albums on a trip can make it feel like you're traveling the world in your bedroom. it's weird
Lana del rey is better than than your favorite female artist
Beyoncé is better than your favourite artist
What if she is my favorite female artist?

ITT: We post albums that aren't Kid A by Radiohead
I'll start us off with Combat Rock by The Clash.
pictured: an album by Polvo, that is almost definitely not Kid A by Radiohead
bella donna by stevie nicks
Have you ever listened to an album that you liked so much it kind of ruined all other music for you?
>>69701579
When I was 16 or so, Radiohead
All the other music I listened to then (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, The Killers and the other "indie" trash) became unenjoyable
>>69701712
ditto
>>69701712
this didn't happen to me but you're right.
it shouldn't happen once you get a better understanding of the world of music
That existential crisis you have when an artist was younger than you when they wrote and recorded your favorite albums...

Seriously, does anyone else find artists who don't write their own lyrics utterly unlistenable? Not so much when people are openly covering songs, but when it's Beyonce or somming, it guts the whole musical experience for me
why? writing and production credits are transparent.
do you treat aretha franklin differently?
maybe we shouldn't have recitals of classical music because the musicians didn't write the music.
maybe you should stop listening to bands who don't produce their own albums since that's just as important as the songwriting.
the only place where you can have a legitimate grievance is when ghost writing/production is involved.

>alt rite pussyboy likes Can
lol
>The band used the names "Inner Space" and "The Can" before finally settling on "CAN". Liebezeit subsequently suggested the backronym "communism, anarchism, nihilism" for the band's name.
>>69701251
Okay that's apt as fuck considering that's what CAN embody in the signaling realm. lol
I was reading the how to be a music success blog and this is what they teach
> anti record label
> anti investor
> anti cover music
>100% Self reliant
> pro wealth, investment, and making cash money with your music
> keep your day job, build small audience on side via social media and live music, upsell via premium packages, create passive income through htbams systems, repeat
> scale to bigger audiences
Meanwhile i can barely decide which koolaid to pick like the fucking fatass that I am. Made me feel like total shit desu. The problem is me and has always been as i am just not a good businessman
How the fuck do you be a good salesman cause I feel really sad right now and i just want to make money
>>69700960
For a start, music isn't the place to be looking if you want to make money.
Don't listen to that guy play some shows and build a fanbase
Stop making music and learn a trade.
Well /mu/, has it happened yet? Are you still in with what's cool?
not really, no
Depends on what's considered cool.
That'll never happen.
I follow meme pages on facebook.
This is the best hip-hop album of 2016, prove me wrong.
>>69700831
I can't because it's true
Hip-hop is dead
It's up there for sure, I think YG's Still Brazy edges it out though.
