My nana was watching these goons on Ellen. Were they really popular back in the day?
They were singing "American Idiot" but substituting words for Trump
why was she trying to get green day on her show in 2002

comeback album of some sort, I don't think it's been too successful.

>why was she trying to get green day on her show in 2002
What meme is this?
Why doesn't grails have any hype on mu?
They've made some of the best post rock symphonies of our time. if you haven't checked them out yet, here ya go:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMVbd5fsOlQ&index=6&list=PLZqsyBiYZFQ1QvyvtvH6dmAl2a-RRQGIr
also, this new track they released from the newest upcoming album is pretty fantastic:

It's not 2011 anymore. Maybe there'll be hype when the new album drops though
>>69703525
I was going to cite the post-rock list that I always post, but it appears that I've been leaving them out. This will be rectified immediately.
Neat track.
>>69703556
even in 2011 it never got the attention it deserved. btp 4,5,6 came out in 2013 and no one cared. hopefully chalice hymnal will jibber me the right way

'Not The Actual Events' the new 5 song EP will be released next Friday, 12/23 with preorders live right now at http://hyperurl.co/ninstore. The EP finds Reznor and now official bandmate Atticus Ross taking an unexpected left turn from 2013’s Hesitation Marks and sounding unrecognizable from their current film work.
“It’s an unfriendly, fairly impenetrable record that we needed to make” says Reznor. “It’s an EP because that ended up being the proper length to tell that story.”
'Not The Actual Events' is self-released and will be available on all digital platforms 12/23. The NIN store is offering two formats available for pre-order now: 180g 1-sided Vinyl, and a unique limited Digital + Physical Component version.

is he the GOAT?
well only hyper plebs use spotify so i guess he is king of plebs
How come Spotify doesn't have a statistics feature like last.fm that lets you see how many times youve listened to each track/album/etc?
>>69703348
Why does it matter? Keeping track how many times you listen to something is corny
Post your favorite minimalistic album covers

How old were you when you went through your "le right generation" stage? For me it was when I first started to browse /mu/ at age 15, tapering off at around age 17 when I realised we are currently living in an era of great cultural stagnation and music is more or less completely dead.
There's a music scene in every city and you can listen to more music now than ever before. Shut up.
I was born in the right generation because I can filter through all the (c)rap music and stick to fantastic genres and bands of the past, all in a matter of clicks.
>>69702234
Is this supposed to prove me wrong?
>>69702306
I might be persuaded by this if I were only interested in blind consumption of media and not legitimate progression within the arts.
why don't we talk about this band or these albums.
Have you not embraced the swan??
also: thoughts on mothership?
There's usually a DGD thread about once a month and it's always asking why we don't talk about them.
Still, good band. I'm not all that into how bright their production has gotten but I enjoyed theirblast album. Tillian's vocals are possibly the best thing to happen to the bamd since the original line up's reunion in DTBM2.
