ITT: false uniqueness effect
I'm a part of the so-called "alt right" and it feels punk as fuck. It feels like an actual counter culture, or rebellion against the PC culture that dominates American colleges.
>>69820137
Lol you idiot. White ppl are done, you're on the wrong side of history. We as a people have done nothing but harm to the world, and I can't wait until we're all brown and there's no more European nations/cultures. Everything just mixed and peaceful
Were these guys the original buttrock band?
>>69819471
Led Zeppelin was first
yeah the doobie brothers sound so much like creed
>>69819482
>>69819490
IDT you guys know what buttrock is. Buttrock is any terrible lame, corporate rock geared for the radio and based on mindless rock cliches.
>Beach Boys
>over 29 Albums
>two 10/10 albums.
>The Beatles
>12 albums
>five 10/10
Makes you think.
Doesn't help that they also made 3 10/10s in their solo careers
>>69819365
>He dosen't include Sunflower or Surf's Up
That's about four OP
The Beach Boys have one 10/10 album and a collection of ideas that could have been a 10/10 album
Don't give them too much credit
That's it: Pitchfork is officially dead

oh my god
I have never listened to NIN. Why should I care about them and what are their essential albums?
because he made a song CASH himself covered before he died, and NIN is one guy
How American is Trent Reznor?
>what are their essential albums?
The Downward Spiral
The Fragile
Broken
I'd recommend the entire discography personally.
>Why should I care about them
If you are looking for some of the most honest and personal music out there with great themes, amazing super instrumentals, visceral rage and genuine feels, amazing some of the best concept albums, The Downward Spiral being literally flawlessly executed then NIN is for you
The Downward Spiral might just be the best concept album of all time, hell, best album of all time. Every single album has some form of a hit, litereally every single one, the guy never released bad album once, all of them have amazing replay value as they hide a lot, you will not hear everything and notice everything upon your first listen, this goes even to their more accesible album like With_Teeth. This goes for sounds and themes.
>>69812762
it really wasn't you probably just don't like him
>>69812771
I don't know, he spent almost half the time with albums "he would've eaten up when he was twelve" and picking apart some edgy book. It made him seem disconnected and pretentious, giving us almost no insight into what influences him and stuff
yep
They're not as big as they used to be, but I think their stuff holds up. Yield was their best if you ask me.
>>69811493
No Code was better
>>69811527
No Code was mostly stellar. But a quarter of it sounded like filler.
>>69811493
Their 90's albums are great.
Ten gets all the attention but I don't think it was close to their best.
>Goodbye Blue Sky
>>69810749
That's my favorite song from The Wall. Idk about favorite Pink Floyd song...
>>69810766
it's objectively the best song from their entire discography
>>69810749
Is this supposed to be ironic? I can't even tell anymore
