What the fuck is this guy's problem?
>Maybe hethinkshe's done something remarkable, because he still sees himself as an innovator, even though his output since reforming NIN in 2005 has been well-textured but either comfortably formulaic (With Teeth,Hesitation Marks,The Slip's first half) or uncomfortably ambitious (Ghosts I-IV, the secondhalf ofThe Slip, parts ofYear Zero).

6.3 is a nice score
should have been lower
p4k means radio alt-rock from the 90s should stay in the 90s

> I don't like when Reznor tries to do something new
This sounds like a pitchfork review

Every album is a collaboration between the talented record artists and the talent-less hack listeners.

why do u keep posting this thread
Hip-hop and rap are nothing more than aggressive yet monotone lyrics set to simplistic beats and melodies. They take very-little skill or hard work to create and are subsequently enjoyed by those with no appreciation of skill or hard work.
Also, hip-hop and rap tend to be something of a catalyst* for violent acts committed by these unintelligent, uninspired, unskilled and lazy people (let's be honest, here - mostly men). Ironically, were one to resort to violence in an attempt to remove said-problem (I can think of a few who'd be first to go), this would negate the argument, entirely. So, the rest of us just put up with hip-hop, rap and their subhuman followers.
There are so many wondrous things we've learned we can do with our voices, in unison, with other hard-working people who've been practising until their fingers bleed, and there are STILL those who listen to people talking fast over a generic melody and beat?
Humanity simply hasn't evolved.
*The most humorous thing about this post is, an overwhelming majority of those that DO defend hip-hop and rap, would have to head to Google or a dictionary to know what the word, "catalyst" means.
Rap is not a genre, but most rappers make the mistake of thinking it is.
In reality, it's just one of those things you can do with your voice.

>The fact that so many books still name Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band as “the greatest or most significant or most influential” Beatles album ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art.
>Wolfe has cited the visual elements of filmmaker Ingmar Bergman and photographer Nan Goldin as influences,[37] as well as the writings of D.H. Lawrence and Ayn Rand.[42] However, on September 24, 2015, she stated that with regard to her supposed affinity with Rand: "When I said I liked Ayn Rand many years ago I didn't know anything about what she stood for or what her books meant. I recant!".
How could you not know what Rand 'stood for'? Her ideas are cut and dry. What's she recanting? Individual liberty? Private property?
Probably because she was citing what the teenage Chelsea who read Ayn Rand and only took in what appealed to her believed Ayn Rand stood for, and as an adult, realized very clearly Ayn Rand was an exceptionally poor writer with misanthropic philosophies that appeal to only misanthropes.
That, or she just tacked it on at the time to appear smart and admits now that Ayn Rand is not cool.
Probably just a dumbass kid asked who her influences and named the couple of books she read at school. That kind of over emotional schlock that both Rand and Lawrence write is often taught in school because it appeals to teens, doesn't really mean they absorb what they read though.
>>69947301
>misanthropic
Ayn Rand was far from being a misanthrope. She was all for human progress. She gives tons of sound arguments on how collectivists are the misanthropic and destructive people.

Yea, I did make the song. But stack the vocals (sing the same thing over top of another vocal track) and add a little distortion. Thanks for checking it out my man!
