>made competent but average and ultra trendy music
>Basically someone like the Weeknd or grimes of the past, also competent but uninventive pop artists with a faux "artistic" image
>Still unironically, to this day, revered in "art" scenes for some strange reason

He actually made music that was above average, and would be trendy, but was usually about two years before it was really "trendy".
I bet you don't understand why Andy Warhol was good.
Soundgarden was the best band from the nineties. Prove me wrong. Protip- if you can't you lick porpoise anus.

Well, she's probably just going to keep saying and doing more and more controversial shit in order to stay relevant. Even then, that still doesn't work.

e-dubble uses his music as a tool to convey his thoughts and feelings in an honest style that is difficult to find in hip-hop. Following a year of weekly free song releases on his Facebook and acclaimed mixtape Written Thursday, e-dubble released "Changed My Mind". An intense testimonial, "Changed My Mind" can't be summed up with a few keywords, you'll feel it when you listen.

I listened to his freestyle mixtape when it droppes in 2010 but he fell off my radar until this year. I went into the new album with low expectations and was actually surprised. He brings a lot more energy to the tracks and is much perkier than he was in 2010. It was enjoyable.
To add: I like him because his songs actually have a message behind them rather than just "nigga nigga smoke weed shoot up some mofo's with a gat." They're surprisingly motivating as well, plus his voice is pretty soothing. Something about e-dub makes him stand out from the standard auto tune abusing faggot we see day in and day out. Sadly in the past few years he's kind of transitioned to the thing I just described, most noticeably in his new album "Two Tone Rebel" where he uses the hell out of autotune. Most of his older shit is straight fire though, especially any of the Freestyle Friday's.

Yeah it's definitely more energetic I just feel like he's transitioning into that thing we all are too familiar with (which has both its positives and negatives, energy being one positive you described but lack of variety being a negative). I like "Wait" but that's about it. https://youtu.be/IGDrdmIVMt8

Description:
The title of Good Boy's new album, A Mouth Full, is quite prophetic of what it has to offer. Dizzying, disorienting synthesizers and vocoders, dwindling guitars, and colorful, terse bursts of energy, composed and comprised aside George's soft spoken, illusory-filled lyricism. Quite the mouthful indeed.
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And George give some love. Thank You. :)

A new EP will be coming in a few days. I've got an LP coming too but that won't be for a few more weeks at the very least. Would anyone be interested in helping produce a few tracks? They're mostly finished but need some help, like some extra instruments and melodies.
Last one died, so here's a new one.
Rec, review, and support these amazing artists.
