Finally have the money to afford a decent amp, looking for something for shoegaze. dreampop, noisepop, and trip-hop. I'm going to pedal it like crazy, but I just don't know exactly where I should be looking in terms of amps.
I don't think the amp matters too much so long as it's a good one. That Vox is excellent. What's more important is your guitar and the effects you're using.

I have a cheap strat clone, but looking to get the deerhoof custom or a jazzmaster. Pedals wise rn I have a deus ex machina fuzz which I love and a midiverb rack coming in the mail
Most Fender, Vox, and Marshall tube amps handle shoegaze fine. The Roland Jazz Chorus amps are also great.
>yfw it clicks
right now lol, i'm not even kidding. am halfway through and there's less filler than i thought immediately after my first listen
>>70019761
meh pretty sweet is the first totally forgettable piece of filler

I didn't like it first listen when it was released at all. Now it's been 4 months and it's my aoty
I came on here hoping to discuss proper music, but you all listen to obscure talentless shit like Death Grips.
Come on lads, where's the discussion about proper bands like Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The Stone Roses, The Libertines, The Smiths, Kasabian, The Jam, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Joy Division etc.? You all sperg out over some angry black guy shouting over white noise. inb4 hurr ladcore. At least it's not pretentious shit.
let's discuss proper music

This, /mu/ is so lonely that they've convinced themselves their "wierd xD" music taste is actually 'good'.
What are some good Death Grips tunes?
>>70019558
On GP, Bitch Please and Artificial Death in the West. Their best 3 songs imo
all of them
Klink, Three Bedrooms in a good Neighborhood
Name one (1) album other than '22, A Million' that came out in 2016 that will still be worth listening to in 2017

That's Dun and Tyler's grandfathers btw.
Remind me again why anyone enjoys this shitty album?
Because it's good
>>70019081
It's not even nearly the best Pink Floyd album
It's songs are so shallow
The singing is grating on the ears
The flow is terrible
I can't think of one song that stands out on the album that I truly like, the opening track is the most memorable part to me thanks to it's somewhat psychedelic sound, but it's over before it goes anywhere.
money is groovy

It is pretty shit unfortunately, including the edit job on her face
>Since the cover art for Britney Spears' 9th studio album "Glory" has been revealed, we Britney fans find that the cover art is not a suitable representation of the music that Britney is putting out and we are calling for it to be changed. We ask that RCA Records/Sony Music Entertainment change the album cover to one that would be a better and more suitable choice for the album.

Who are your favourite jazz players
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFUDrK9GLaQ
Unpopular opinion: better sax player than Coltrane.
>>70018669
What makes you say that?
>>70019174
Well, both were/are masters but Pharaoh (over)played with real unfamiliar flair. Some of his solos are utterly mind blowing.
I only say player though, Coltrane was clearly a superior composer and figure in jazz.
BUT IM A CREPE XD
