Perfect albums
I really hate when an album is so fucking polished it's shining
Just leave the mistakes in for fucks sake
It makes it more human
>Album is longer than 14 minutes
>album is 67 minutes long
>2 CDs
So is pic related going to be seen as the next trout mask replica in a few years

This is basically the My Little Pony of music.

>Talks about dealing with graduation, what it means to be an adult, and how everyone is kinda sad all the time.
>Should appeal to children
I don't fully like the whole album, but there are some nice songs and funny moments

Daily reminder this board is full of hipster faggots who will dickride any "unheard of" artist but the absolute moment they make a come up they no longer stand by them and claim to have always hated them. Every single time. It never fails.

holy shieeet
How do you avoid overlistening a song to the point where you subconsciously tune it out like background noise?
Avoiding listening to it for some time doesn't work for me, the progress to overlistening just picks up from wherever I last left off.
Part of the reason I 95% listen to only music from the current year. Then within that time I listen as many times as I want.
I dont think there is anything you can do about that. Besides finding new good stuff to listen to...
>>70132036
how's 2017 treating you

How do we fix this shithole?
>>70131438
You can't. All of 4chan is too far gone. Stromfront has infiltrated this entire board and now any new poster thinks it's the status quo.

>>70131438
>How do we fix this shithole?
get rid of the SJWs, progressive liberals, alt-right
basically fucktards like yourself who can't shut up about politics
In your opinion which decade has the largest yield of good quality music?
60s, and frankly it's not even close
2010s easily. Any other answer is retarded.
>>70131965
It's actually 70s
Just binge listened to the first two tracks off this album
Is it good?
it transcends the quality meme

>listens to Grimes once
>listens to Mandré once
Critically acclaimed, classics, albums you slept on this year, etc.
"What rock have I been living under?" albums for you.
Pic very related.
not that I haven't known about it, but I never really got around listening to it until as of late
I have listened to "Transatlanticism" before 2016 maybe a couple of times and for me it was just another mellow indie rock album. I was in a deep emotional crisis during a big part of 2016 and I found "Transatlanticism" again. It became my most played album of the year. Also listened the shit out of "The Photo Album" and "Plans".

>tfw you will never be able to get into Dylan for the first time again
I envy you, got over 13000 plays of him and I always wish those experiences could all be new and fresh again, I try to find stuff of his I haven't listened to as much that I enjoy to keep things new
