Just got this for Christmas. Really digging it so far, I view it as a return to the ultra-rhythmic type songs on Remain in Light.
Op this is my favorite album by them. For some reason I have Flowers associated with a long drive down a packed highway in the middle of a 100 degree Alabama summer with the most infuriating squeaky clutch. And despite that it's one of my favorite songs period.

Music aside, honestly some of the worst album art in all of music history.
ITT: Covers arguably better than the original

why
>This whole album is really great...
>except for Downtown Train.
What the FUCK????
>fantano reviews an old album I like
>hordes of meme grips faggots saying their stupid melon in jokes whenever I bring up the album now
It just does not fit anon. It's a generic 80s pop song. Why is it on the record.
>>70144363
Why does Fantano review old albums? There are hundreds of reviews for classic releases like Rain Dogs. There's a 95 percent chance he's not adding anything to the conversation.
Forgive me /mu/ for I have sinned. I'm starting to like Future Funk
>>70144322
This is actually badass, was expecting some underproduced poorly mixed trash.
>>70144322
future funk is shit
>>70144624
>it's not explicitly the genres i enjoy so it's trash
sometimes I wish I could tell /mu/ to get off it's own board

ITT: music that makes you feel like you're on another planet.
Let me ask you something brother, is 85-92 one of your only ambient albums you listen to?
yung lean
Not sure what kind of response I'll get, however:
Got a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue (Pic related), I've had it for 10 years. Today I go to play and I can't get any sound out of it. The pilot light turns on, but other than that it isn't working.
I think it's the tubes, they are still glowing but from what I've gathered, that doesn't mean much. I've never changed them FYI. Does this make sense based on what I described? I need it working ASAP while spending the least amount of cash, a set of new tubes is all I can afford so if that doesn't work I'm stuck.
>>70144031
have you checked the fuse?
Haven't checked. But would the amp still turn on if the fuse had blown?
>>70144070
Because like I said the amp still turns on. Thx for reply
So are Deftones considered pleb?
They were my gateway into shoegaze. Good atmosphere.

Hi /mu/, I've been searching for this self titled Bowery Electric LP for some time now and was curious if per chance anyone owns it and would like to share pictures.
Also, share more rare LPS/cassettes in general.
My rarest cassette

original vinyl from the 90s is just about impossible to find and when you do find it you have to pay an arm and a leg. even for things more popular. i can't remember how much i paid for Adore by the smashing pumpkins and i don't want to.

Early 2010s probably had the most catchy and ""interesting"" pop music, but remember that that's not setting the bar that high as far as quality goes.

Hey /mu/, what are your favorite classical recordings? Starting to get into classical music, but it's difficult to figure out which recordings to download/listen to.
Classical Classical or do you mean Baroque - Impressionist eras?
