So I lost all 30 gigs of my music because the magnet in my white noise machine's remote fucked my hard drive into oblivion and now I'm gonna be spending the next few months sifting throw dead links on the archive to try and get it all back. Music for this feel?

Avoid pretty much anything post-2012 Pitchfork recommends and you'll be good. That will filter out like 80% of the trash /mu/ posts about daily. I'd suggest looking at Rate Your Music charts from each decade and giving each top 10 album a listen, just to see what you like and go from there.

Nothing will compare to the first time hearing this. Or the 50th time, but especially first. Hearing that breakdown on In the Flowers was revolutionary. But then Also Frightened, which is like a gorgeous pop/tribal breakdown of the subconcsious. And Taste is a beatitude pop ballad/alternative soundscape. It is the one that most connects to our primitive souls.
What are your thoughts on this album. Also Guys Eyes is underrated as fuck. IN the background it sounds like some kind of pulsating organisms that lends the track a physical realness "I just want to do what my body wants to..."
