this guy
A 15 year old NEET vs 50 year old millionaire.
Is say you're evenly matched.
I just want to cuddle w/someone, but I don't have anyone
Music for this feel?
I listen to this album to artificially create the feeling of being loved.
>>70378088
>I just want to cuddle w/someone,
I never understand this feel. Why?
Idk if this is reconfortating or just saddens me even more
Mathrock is just prog but for effeminate millennials
replace mathrock with post-rock
what mathrock actually is, is death metal for butch lesbos
>>70378059
I take it you like Mathrock then

What on earth
/mu/ in one image.
>>70377903
/mu/ is maybe partly this but is also tryhard hipster too
Either way though the degree of fanboy-ism that /mu/ has is still pretty accurately represented by your picture.
>>70377933
define tryhard hipster.
the odd future era was the last time that /mu/ was good
It's 3:43 am here, and I'm working. What music should I listen to?

Isn't it ironic that Death Grips' worst song is called Trash?
>>70377460
Isn't it ironic that you listen to Death Grips
and by ironic do you mean appropriate
that's not what ironic means you dumb fucc

Liquid Swords > Cuban Linx > SC > Return
All great tho. Wu Tang was the most talented hip hop group of all time
>>70377554
This.
Is Lil Peep going to blow up? This song is a banger, but "Girls" is complete trash.

The Microphones sample took me by surprise. Good shit.
>>70377444
>LIKE IT ON MY DICK
>>70377444
nice trips senpai. hopefully he blows up so he can get some better production.
>>70377502
One of his videos went up 600k views within 24 hours the other night.

That song is ehhhh. wtf is that Horsehead guy doing.
"you know my laaaaiiiife"

>be your average Spotify-browsing normie
>hear of a cool band called "King Crimson"
>search up their most famous album, "In the Court of the Crimson King," on Spotify
>no results
>pirate it
>instead of getting 1 cent per stream, which eventually adds up, Overlord Fripp gets literally nothing
/mu/, why does Fripp not want any of his *snicker* "art" to be streamable by legal means?
>>70376677
Spotify users are too dumb to pirate things
>>70376677
Same reasons that people like Peter Gabriel and Prince don't. Musicians who have already been successful for years and are above a certain age just don't see any incentive to negotiate some terms for what they see as a paltry payout on their music that will hurt album sales (album sales?! lulz). And they don't care about people having access to their music if it means they might not be compensated.
>>70376696
I use spotify and I pirate anything they don't have that I want to hear.
This album is boring. Discuss.
>>70376575
I like all songs on it except for the last one, it kinda suck. 7/10
It's dreamy, but certainly not boring. It's a great album to wake up to. Very light and calm.
Kill yourself. Discuss
How normie-tier is progressive rock?
I identify the most with the early post-rock scene (Labradford, Kranky records, the Chicago Scene where Gastr del Sol and Tortoise come from, the list goes on), and the genre has a very audible influence from progressive rock.
Lately (3 months ago) I went from rare psychedelics use to a more mild use (smoke weed twice or thrice a weed, do acid once every 2 weeks, sometimes once a week).
On my lasts trips I started listening to lots of Pink Floyd and other prog rocks band and shit is magical, songs like Shine On You Crazy Diamond or Time are some deep shit when you're tripping balls so much that your body twitches.
>>70376530
It's normie tier as hell, just like how weed and acid are some of the normiest drugs ever.
There are less normie prog rock bands, like Faust and Van der Graaf Generator, but most prog fans don't care about them and think Pink Floyd is the "trippiest thing ever dude".
>>70376530
Some of it is normie-tier, you can guess which.
Nektar, Van der Graaf, Kingston Wall, Gentle Giant and a lot of krautrock (Neu, Agitation Free, Gila) is not.
Pink Floyd is not prog rock
How would /mu/ feel about the possibility of a new Madvillain project?
Would you approve. And say let them do what they want?
seeing as how the original madvillainy is shit idk
>>70376580
You're objectively wrong.
Everything on Madvillain is done well.
if you aren't down for a new madvillainy project you're either autistic or a fantanodrone
madvillainy is my fav album of all time and any new music from the both of them would make my fucking day, even if it isn't as good as madvillainy. at the end of the day it just means more music for you to vibe to and i think thats whats gonna happen
Pop music is the best music; that's why it's so popular.
Discuss.
>>70375869
lowest common denominator
>>70375898
That's just a trite cliché that doesn't make sense in this context.
Lowest how exactly?
The production, arrangement, voicing, mixing, mastering and hooks are objectively of better quality than most 'indie' music.
>>70376097
High quality != good
Most pop music sounds so sterile and lacks humanity
