What in the absolute FUCK is this? I just listened to the first "song" and it's literally a bunch of noise. It's not even different noises. It's like the same thing repeating for three minutes. I don't understand how people can enjoy this. If the whole album is like this, I don't want any part of it. This is not a "classic" album. This is fucking noise.

My bad
>>70789274
why is Grimes so boring?
Like I don't know what it is about her or the nu-indie culture she basically encompasses, but as "eclectic" her tastes are (as I'm sure hacks would call it and nothing elseelse) its just so.. Boring. Like it has no substance to it other than being "eclectic" or whatever. At least the "eclectic" nature of indie in the past was at least rooted with some end goal... Grimes and music like her that is domianting the mainstream indie scene is so vapid and direction less it honestly bores me to tears and is basically a fine example of why recent (past 7 years or so) of indie culture becoming so boring to me, around the time bitte orca solidified this trend
ITT: cringe
Did you know?
>OK Computer was actually the first critically acclaimed album in the history of the world. While music has been made since the dawn of men, musicologists agree that no music made before 1997 could ever be considered "good". Radiohead changed that - you can thank Thom Yorke and his band for the fact that your favourite album has been made.
aphex twin invented electronic music
To date, no white person has ever listened to any hip hop artist other than Kanye West.
The symbols at the bottom spell out "Mos Def & Talib Kweli".

There's a severe lack of DAW descriptions in the wiki. If you're good with your tool of choice, consider writing a paragraph about it.

Remember to use clyp.it to post your tracks/WIP: posting a clyp.it is just providing sound for a question, posting a Soundcloud link is making self-advertisement and the thread doesn't need that.
Remember to check other peoples' clyp.it links to keep the thread healthy.
