I don't enjoy music anymore, is this permanent?
get your serotonin hormone levels in your brain restored
Just try to find something to get you out of your depression and makes you happy to an extent. Meet some girl or something.

nah, just take some time off of listening.
who here remembers post nightcore, who here fucks with post nightcore, i do.
it's not dead either, it's just really obscure. people are still making pn, so if any old pn producers see this - get back on it. if any of you guys want more pn to exist then make some, add to the pool and inspire other people <3

Wato Wato here, those were the days :')
Favorite 水 here. Still attempting to push it. I have one more album under my belt for next year. ill for sure stick with it if it blows up again. But right now i really want more people making it
i think all the originators could make more music now, and show the genre to any producers they know, and make the scene bigger. it's so shit that there are so few albums.
Is this the best hip hop album of the decade?
>>74901315
It's one of them but MBDTF is clearly the best.

Okay, so I've been kinda bored recently. My summer job ended and for a few weeks before I move out and find something in another city I have a little too much time to spend and not that much money.
Long story short I'm mostly sitting at home and listening to music and after a pretty guitar-oriented summer I'm venturing again more into electronic music, been listening a lot of sets on mixcloud and shit.
One day while listening to some Paula Temple or Ellen Allien set I started to think about electronic music genres and which are hip and which are not. Stuff like IDM or Trip-Hop is now basically universally liked by people who don't even like electronic music, same with ambient. There is more abrasive stuff, but if you show up at a party in a Prurient t-shirt no one would bat an eye. Then there's techno, and it's great but it's become so hip that techno fans can be even more pretentious than some old, bearded prog rockists.
The list really goes on and on until finally I thought to myself that there is one genre I cannot really think of as hip in any way, shape or form and that is Trance.
Once practically mainstream (at least in Europe) with stuff like Robert Miles - Children getting regular radio play, now forgotten almost universally except for fitness classes and mushroom fueled psytrance bacchanalias in your local forest.
With the exception of some old stuff that's been on the radio or some parties I only really listened to Shpongle and Hallucinogen.
So to you people I have two questions.
1. Am I missing something and there is some good trance being made right now.
2. Is there a trance equivalent of minimal techno or deep house. You know a trance Helena Hauff or Robert Hood and not say trance Scooter if that makes sense. Stuff that is self-conscious in a way and not 'stupid' for a lack of a better word (and I like stupid stuff too for the record)
tl;dr
recommend some good trance, old or new that isn't garbage

I like the second track the best. The first is cool too in a weird sense as it evokes childhood nostalgia, when eurodance was at it's peak.

i like it, atmospheric and flows pretty well.
hard for me to make out the vocals. it's melcancholy, the good kind.

Why would anyone need Pavement, Modest Mouse, Guided by Voices, Interpol or Yo La Tengo when you have this instead?
LimedIBagels said all that needs to be said about this overrated album.
>>74900426
Interpol and Modest Mouse are slightly less dickless.
