Ratings of other albums:
Pablo Honey - 5/10
The Bends - One Trillion/10
OK Computer - 10/10
Kid A - 20/10
Songs I already know going into this:
Diddly squat.
What I've heard about this album:
I was told during the last thread this album was 'darker' so....whether that's a good thing or not I'll see in a minute.
Not gonna lie, your scores so far look like typical Radiohead fan's scores. The whole "everything but Pablo Honey's a masterpiece" particularly those three records. But we will see how this goes.

Sorry to disappoint but it looks like I'm gonna be enjoying this one too.
I really like the opening track.
A lot.
Seems like it's gonna have a lot of the robot/digital themes OK COMPUTER and Kid A had.
>Pyramid Song
Welp fuck it's happening again.
I'm transcending.

It's just different, much more minimalistic. Both are pretty good.
I was underwhelmed with both (didn't think they were bad, just allowed myself to fall victim to the hypetrain)
Overall I actually preferred Syro though. Can't point out precisely why, it just reminded me a lot of the shit on ICBYD/RDJ that made me love Aphex Twin in the first place. Cheetah didn't have as much of that but also didn't offer much new 'stuff' to make up for it.
Nah, Syro lived up to the little fanfare I gave it, this just felt like too little Aphex with just one gimmick this time
It's a nice gimmick and I love the cover art, but the only major substance is in Circlon3

>mfw I realize all popular music is shit
it hurts so much to know that all my favorite and most loved albums are actually garbage, I can't un-see it, please end me

I had that phase at 15 too, everyone does. You will outgrow it, don't worry. Just continue along for now.

Every time I think of this album I get legitimately upset knowing I will probably never get to hear it. Does anybody know what became of the ebay auction? Is there any way to contact the buyer???
Where would a copy be, if there are even more in existence? I'd go unreasonably far to try and obtain one.
youll be disappointed.
I was just thinking about this album today. The record company still has a copy. Try emailing them. It probably won't do anything but it'll at least show there's still interest.
>>70872202
like 2 or 3 years ago some faggot on reddit found a copy without knowing what it was and he was gonna upload it but /mu/ trolled him too hard and he got buttblasted. that was probably the only chance we will ever get and we fucked up
Why don't you guys like country music? Are you averse to good music, or something?
>muh truck
>muh wife
>muh cold beer
Just as bad as rap and I have a feeling you're one of those vocal faggots crying about how bad that is
>>70872137
I feel like anything good I could possibly like about country music would be in folk music.
>>70872176

>Just as bad as rap

Are we all willing to admit that we're all atleast a little pretentious here with our music tastes?
Come on we're all being honest with ourselves, don't be that guy to disagree.
I like what I like, I have literally no one to impress with my taste besides anons and I don't care about that whatsoever
>>70871969
A bit probably. I try not be an ass about it irl though.
>>70871969
yes /thread
When will normies recognize this album as one of the greatest of all time?
>>70871913
It was in John Greene book. That ship has sailed over the sea.
I bet LOTS of normies already consider it the greatest album of all time because it basically is normie-core aka indeh muzak.
>>70871957
>>70871963
Where is it then?
/mu/ would love this album if it wouldn't have daddy issues lyrics, you know it's true
>>70871817
fuck off tumblr
>>70871845
Tumblr likes this album because of the lyrics
my argument was that /mu/ would like it if it wouldn't have daddy issues lyrics
you obviously have no arguments against me, you have embarassed yourself and shown that you are incapable of reading
>>70871817
Dude. I personally seek out girls with daddy issues. This is just straight trash.
Is he the greatest modern hip hop artist of this generation?

>>70871521

>>70871490
I don't get it, what's the correlation.
>>70871490
