The OP is all new info, I'll bump with a recap of the existing rumors.
The Orbiting Human Circus of The Air is a podcast that Juilan Koster of Neutral Milk Hotel does the with Night Vale guys. I like it, but it isn't particularly noteworthy if not for today's QnA episode. In it, they announced that they would be doing a "special project" in the spring. Julian also outright said "if I were to answer some of your questions, it would spoil surprises we have for the future". Seeing as he then spoiled part of the second season of the show, I think it's safe to assume he was talking about something else. Obviously, none of this would mean anything if it weren't for the pretty strong evidence that they're already working on an album got 2017, this is really just corroborating that.
The preexisting rumors are mostly explained in pic related, but some extra context is required. The drawings they're talking about were posted and sold on the NMH website with it being very blatant that there was some kind of hidden message.
Also, Julian said on the podcast that he "isn't straight"
IT'S HAPPENING

Are you a fan of yourself, anon?

If playing Yeezus every single day since it came out makes me a fan of myself, then I am. (I'm really not)
I bet he tries to suck his own cock every night
So fucking annoying. You're right Kanye. Nobody likes you more than you do, because nobody likes you.

Henry's Dream [Mute/Elektra, 1992]
Cave's admirers crow about his literary virtues--a rock musician who's actually published a novel! and scripted a film! about John Henry Abbott, how highbrow! Then they proffer dismal examples like "I am the captain of my pain," or the bordello containing--what an eye the man has--a whalebone corset! (Whalebone is very literary--it hasn't been used in underwear since well before Nick was born.) If this is your idea of great writing, you may be ripe for his cult. Otherwise, forget it--the voice alone definitely won't do the trick. C
Korn [Epic, 1995]
The cover art depicts a frightened little girl cowering as the shadow of a hook-handed rapist draws near. The band loves this image and flaunts it in all of their trade ads as Sony flogs their death-industrial into its second year. They also sing about child abuse--guess what? They're agin it. But if their name isn't short for kiddy porn, then the band should insist on a music video where they all get eaten by giant chickens. C
>>70885140
well he ain't wrong
Core [Atlantic, 1993]
Once you've learned to distinguish them from the Stoned Tempo Pirates, the Stoned Pesto Pinenuts, the Gray-Templed Prelates, Pearl Jam, Wishbone Ash, and Temple of the Dog, you may decide that they're a halfway decent hard rock act. Unfortunately, once they're done setting you up with their best power chords, you realize that the type song is "Sex Type Thing" and it's attached to a rape threat. The band claims this is intended ironically, sort of like "Naked Sunday"'s sarcastic handshake with authority. But ironic critique loses its teeth when the will to sex still powers your power chords. And if that's the excuse critics, as well as MTV listeners, have reason to suspect, then the whole band should catch AIDS and die. B-
Thoughts on XXXTENTACION?
New rapper out of Florida, currently in prison
Pic obviously related
he reminds me of myself if i got kicked out by my parents
probably has a serious personality disorder that is only inflamed by the hype surrounding him, this will channel into either really good or really bad future releases from him
also he's in jail not prison, there's a difference
overall he's good, i like what he's doing musically, lots of variety in his discography
he's a nigger so no thanks
>>70885040
I realised it's jail after posting but didn't think anyone would care, but yeah I agree with your point about him having some kind of disorder, he seems cool and overall chill in his no jumper interview but you can tell he's not quite "normal" underneath, contradicts himself a few times and of course there's the time he almost killed a guy for looking at him wrong in jail

Don't have one because burying yourself in misery is a legit waste of time and not good for you. Listen to something angry instead, then go do things.

it, for me
sup /mu/
/g/tard here with a request
i intentionally bought a motherboard with a better-than-average onboard audio options because i like to listen to music
not an audiophile, but enjoy quality tunes
for the first few months i had zero problems using my headphones (m40x's) the read green 3.5mm jack as per usual
at some point i decided to hook up my older 2.1 stereo setup, which was originally a logitech set but i broke one speaker, decided to scrap both and splice in some nicer JBLs
they work fine, i've tested them with 2 different phones
however, shortly after having plugged in the 2.1 set, i've noticed that the green jack makes whatever is plugged in (speakers, headphones) pop in the left speaker whilst no audio is playing
this is unbearable while i have my headphones on, and it pops while i'm sleeping with the speakers plugged in. need it to stop
i've troubledshooted the problem for over a month now, can't seem to find the exact way to google it. a lot of people claim it to be a speaker problem but both sets work just fine using the front audio jack and my phones.
i've completely reinstalled windows, updated all drivers twice, no cigar
one person suggested cleaning the interior of the jack using the DEOXIT chemical
i've worked at a music store before, and i know the stuff is good, but what does /mu/ think?
any other suggestions?
tl,dr:
-read i/o jack pops in left speaker
-headphones and speakers confirmed working fine elsewise
-drivers&windows up to date
-wat do
-pic unrelated

>one person suggested cleaning the interior of the jack using the DEOXIT chemical

Sounds like a good place to start
I really can't imagine it's software related, I'd have to guess it's either the jack or the cable (if you're using the same cable for your phones and speakers)
Are you sure the sound doesn't occur when you have audio playing and just get drowned out?
>>70885426
>cable
it's a different cable for both sets
>drowned out
i'm p.sure it's not occurring during any audio, because it's a fairly hefty pop. like, uncomfortably loud
also i notice it goes away if i mute windows
x,x
