who's sheet music literate here?
I can't quite wrap my brain around double sharp/double flat. If a note is marked as double sharp when in a key that already calls for it to be sharp... do you add a whole step up on top of that? Or do you treat it like a "natural" symbol and ignore the key?
I'm so confused. :(
halp me bump
Oh fuck me I used to know this stuff
Now you've fucked my head too

I honestly dont know. Kanye is such a weird artist. I have no idea what style Turbo Grafx 16 will be and that makes me even more excited for it.

Kek. I've listened to his funk period and his earlier modal period. What should I try next?
>>70893453
Maynstreem meadyore is a blithering plebeian, but melon does a weak job of taking him down. Anyway you missed the earlier thread.
Is "Bullet" the edgiest, most offensive, and distasteful song ever written? I seriously can't think of a more offensive song.
>>70893423
this is clearly bait, there are way more "offensive" or edgy songs, even by the misfits
>>70893423
>somewhere on this God's green Earth, someone wholeheartedly believes this
>>70893461
Name one Misfits song more offensive than Bullet.
Don't say "Last Caress" or some shit, because that's fictional. It's not aimed at a specific person. Can you imagine Kennedy's family hearing Bullet?
Did computers ruin music?

too small bruh
Admit it, hip hop is the only genre innovating right now. White people have lost. Niggas like Lil Yachty, Young Thug, & Future have taken over the white mans game.
I'll be honest hip hop atm is pretty boring and Trap is mostly vapid garbo. Danny Brown was a breath of fresh air with his strange post-punk instrumentals and Lil Yachty was interesting with his production on Lil Boat.
That's about it though.
>>70893216
But rap all sounds the same, OP.
>>70893320
Naw u just aint real cuh
Is pop punk the only 100% commercial genre?
I GOTTA BE MORE PUNK AND FORGET ABOUT WRITING LOVE SONGS
'CAUSE EVEN THOUGH I'M A MIDDLE CLASS WHITE CANADIAN GOD KNOWS I BEEN DONE WRONG
I'M A FAKE PUNK
FAKE PUNK
I'LL EVEN USE A DIRTY WORD
I'LL EVEN WRITE A MEAN SONG
I'LL EVEN TAKE A MEAN PICTURE, 'CAUSE I'VE GOT THE HAIR FOR IT
>>70893201
The punk aspect of it precludes it form being 100% commercial.
>>70893274
The commercial aspect precludes it from bieng even 1% punk
What is your dad's favorite band/artist?

Can someone post that rare Bjork where she's sitting at a desk working on a computer? Not the one where it's like "when the m8's are online" There's one similar and I can't find it anywhere.
Why has nothing good come out this year? I never see people talking about new music anymore. Why is that?
Pic related is what I've listened to this year. All kind of meh. Give me 2017 recs.
>>70892922
Code Orange's new album was very good. The new Wiley album was also solid. I enjoyed the new xx release. You crazy man. 2017 has been pretty solid so far.
William Basinski's A Shadow in Time was pretty good
Sampha's album keeps growing on me. I agree though, it's dry as fuck this year so far. I remember January was better in previous years. Ty Segall is better than that Foxygen and Japandroids garbo tho
