my fuck it bucket is the bucket i fuck every morning when i wake up i drill holes in it and throw some elmer's in there and just go to town fells very good
any music that evokes the feeling of being in nature, up a mountain, lost in the woods, walking on the beach, is welcome.
Total Life Forever is great if you're near a lake or beach.
I would recommend Local Natives' "Hummingbird" as well, or perhaps some Bright Eyes. I know a bunch more, but they're slipping my mind at the moment.

>uuugh it's just generic coffee shop music
No it fucking isn't this album is the musical equivalent to 2001 A Space Odyssey
I really dislike that, honestly
"coffee shop music"
"grocery store music"
"urban outfitters"
musicians have no control where their music is played - so why criticize it where it is played over speakers? feels aritrary, just an attempted way to express dislike for an album without knowing any actual music terminology
>>70946852
Except certain styles of music are played in those places and artists know this going in and if your greatest ambition is to make that kind of music, you're not a quality artist so it's a completely valid criticism
in fairness to the people who criticize this as being "coffee shop music," it is in fact a concept album based on the idea of music they would play in a cafe in penguin world
and it's melodic and mostly major-key
it's also got a lot going on and more creative than its detractors give it credit for
sometimes I feel like people are rating their own ability to appreciate an album rather than the album itself
if an album is easy to like, they dock it points because they can't brag that they "got" it--honestly though, I'm not sure I completely get Music From the Penguin Cafe. I still don't completely understand Penguin world.
>I make music!

punk music for artfags and pussies
Its appeal.

it's all drum machine on this album though, Phil wasn't told they were recording an album until they released it

doing a minute track album to distract me from responsibilities
dubs and 5s=track name
42=album name
69=album cover
trips or higher=artist
40 tracks
42 counts for album cover once the album name is got and vice versa
don't use any existing album covers you fucking idiot
songs of any genre and quality will be accepted
album will be available at https://suicideisanoptionrecordsc2016.bandcamp.com/ once finished

Does /mu/ like Katy Perry's new vaporwave song?
I'd like to put my Perry in her Katy if you know what I mean
>>70945898
I used to be a huge Katy Perry fan and tried to sell people on her all the time...but ultimately, she takes far too long between albums for me to care anymore because her music is only fun for a few months and then I burn out
such a trend hopper - copied gaga at first now looks like a meme thot
