ITT: Albums that you like for nostalgic reasons.
Eminem's Curtain Call. The album was pretty shitty but I used to listen to it a lot.

one of the worst opinions I've seen on this board
were they the best dadrock band?
Yes. The hillbilly Beatles
>>71013910
they were not.
/thread
no but they are a good pleb filter for people who can't get past the hillbilly aesthetic
>With Metallica gearing up for the North American leg of their WorldWired Tour and Gaga prepping for her Joanne world tour, a reunion may not happen for a while. But Ulrich hopes last week's performance was more than an one-off. "We already started fast-forwarding to the next chapter when we can do more of this," he says. "It's not one of those '20 lawyers, strategists and managers trying to force two people from two different worlds to figure out how to spend four minutes together on a national telecast.' Of any of these undertakings, this is about as organic and authentic as there's ever been one. We're just getting started."
is this a good move?
>>71013831
>good move?
meh. Cant be worse than lou lou.
If you cant be ground breaking and technical you may as well be catchy and entertaining.
>>71013831
Metallica don't exactly have a good track record when it comes to collaborations
>tfw ywn fuck her in the skimpy outfit she wore on stage
was nu metal the worst genre ever in all of rock music /mu/?
>>71013820
It's pretty bad yea but I think S.C.I.E.N.C.E., Around the Fur and Toxicity are all pretty good albums in their own right. They each come up with some decent riffs, tight songwriting and conjure up unique atmospheres beyond braindead meathead riffs of the rest of the stuff.
Korn's s/t has some artistic merit too unlike everything else they ever released, it's actually the most creative, innovative album there - my reservations towards it are just to me fucking hating Jonathan Davis' schtick. Ball Tongue is a fun ass song though.
Tool isn't nu-metal but you knew that already.
>>71013820
no
cuz there was buttrock
nu-metal has some interesting releases
>>71013820
>putting Around the Fur in the same chart as Mudvayne
Where do I start with this fellow?
by stopping spamming the board
>>71013828
I'm legit curious about his music, I'm not spamming.

The Queen is dead
Hatful of hollow
The rest of The Smiths compilations and albums.
Viva Hate
I don't care too much for his other stuff.
I've been seeing stuff that suggests Ratking is falling apart.
SportingLife's solo career is starting to make moves and Wiki has been flying solo for a little bit but I thought Ratking was just on the back burner for a bit.
Anyone know what Hak has been up to or more context for what's happening?
Also discuss Ratking's merits as a group, be they Wiki and Hak's unique flows and lyricism or SportingLife's masterful production.
>>71013686
fuck off you dumb nigger
>>71013686
lmao ratking has been dead
Wiki is an egomaniac Xanhead that no one has cared about since 2014.
It clicked

>>71013580

Is xxxtentacion just a poor man's death grips or actually a kid with potential?
>>71013497
XXXTENTACION has huge potential. In my opinion he has more variety in sound than Death Grips.
>>71013852
yeah this tbqh
if hes open minded enough and doesn't just stick with the soundcloud kids.
imagine him rapping over arca or opn beats.
kid could be a legend
>>71013497
He had a lot of variety in music which is able to reach every one.. Black, white asian, etc
He cares a lot for his fans and makes conscious music when he wants to. The only thing holding back his potential is his legit mental unstable-ness. He needs therapy, not jail.
Name a genre other than shoegaze where the most popular release is also the best
Most of them
