top ten hip hop / rap albums
this is my opinion btw
>I keep trying to rise from the bottom ends
>Instead, I end up getting the shitty Bends
Really Radiohead? Those are some shitty ass rhymes. Pathetic excuse for a hip hop album.
>all that trap shit

2 songs min
12 max
The whole album is great
Nah, I like all the songs
Floridada, Lying in the Grass and On Delay are my favorites btw. Burglers, Bagels in Kiev and Golden Gal are also great.
I'm personally excited about this shit, their last track was mediocre but they may redeem themselves.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT
El Manaña best track
I've never met someone in real life talk about Sweet Trip, how rare are these fellow fans?
All their fans are on RYM or /mu/ so good luck finding one in public
>>71041329
It's an incredibly obscure album by any reasonable standards
/mu/ will try to tell you otherwise because their perception is warped by how much time they spend here, but there is very little reason you'd ever meet anyone who knows about this album unless you specifically know they're into idm and shoegaze and such
here's some
>Hey bro, have you heard of [band you showed them a month ago?] Bro they're so awesome you would love them"
>show band to a friend
>he ends up liking them more than I do
That happened a while ago to me it made me realise how little people pay attention to me
>>71041390
Yet we pay attention to everyone
So uh, with the benefit of hindsight can we all agree now that this album is the most cancerous piece of shit ever to grace rock music?
It's still the most pompous, cheesy, genuinely pretentious thing I've ever forced myself to sit through. You can literally feel rock music dying as you listen to it. People like to pretend radio rock is what killed rock, but that's just the mainstream and it's irrelevant to anyone with half a brain. This on the other hand, its influence runs deep and you can hear their tryhard "stadium indie" sound on pretty much every underground rock album that came after it.
This album is meaningless and unimportant precisely because you can actually hear it trying desperately to be meaningful and important with every fucking note. It took the rock out of indie rock, it took the indie out of indie rock, and it took the fun out of funeral. Total fucking bullshit.
>>71041284
>it took the fun out of funeral
pseudo-music critic snarky puns don't really work in this context
>it took the fun out of funeral
You have to go back (to Reddit).
>>71041348
or maybe to /b/ where the other nihilistic edgelords are
>I don't wish I was black but there's a whole lot of times I wish I wasn't white
What does he mean by this?
He wants to be asian.
I wish I was white, I hate the fact that I am some ugly inbetween because my ancestors couldn't resist to rape some native pussy
Throughout history, white people have consistently been assholes.
I took a class on race last semester and the professor kept using this quote lol
i like their first three records still but not much else
Pink Floyd
I was your typical edgelord that liked The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon
Now I am a Syd fanboy
Talking Heads, iirc
still really like them when i listen to them, but i don't reach for them very often (every time i do, i tell myself i should revisit them more often)
>>71041220
that's a pretty patrish first band anon
Aladdin Sane> Ziggy Stardust
Correct!
The Man Who Sold The World > Aladdin Sane
>>71041016
Not correct!
