Hail to the thief is an anti-George W. Bush album how the fuck is it auth right you stupid ass
what does /mu/ think of clipping?
The more I listened to Midcity, the more I liked it. Listening to it now actually.
I loved Untitled EP
I loved midcity
I loved Chain/Jump
I liked CLPPNG
I thought Wriggle was fine
I thought S&M was laughably bad
That anti-Trump track was/still is embarrassing
I guess I don't care what they do now, maybe if they pull a "we're going back to our full harsh noise style" I might be interested, but at this point some other up and coming noise rap group will just take the mantle
their whole career is a shitty attempt at industrial hip-hop
Discuss one of the most amazing artists in the history of mankind, Claire Elise Boucher aka Grimes.

Is prog rock dead?
>>71093809
Yes and no.
70's and 80's style prog being made today is difficult to find, but it's out there.
Modern style prog and the subgenres it helped spawn like math and noise rock are all still kicking, but they aren't at all popular.
>>71093846
What are some modern albums you'd recommend?
No. In fact I think it's going to come back at some point.
how do I into Peter Gabriel
So -> Us -> Melt -> Security -> Selling England by the Pound -> Foxtrot -> Lamb Lies Down on Broadway -> Nursery Cryme -> Car -> Scratch -> Trespass -> Scratch my Back -> New Blood
congrats you are now a peter gabriel fan

Today is the birthday of The King of Limbs /mu/.
What do you have to say about the album?
king of limbs is good
>>71093631
you bet it is
>>71093622
It's good but nowhere near their best
Is it worth it to even try get into The Beatles? I'm listening to Abbey Road currently and sure it's good but it's doing nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Should I just go on to listen to artists I actually enjoy instead of trying to find out what my Kardashian loving cousins and Dave Grohl rate so highly about them? They sound like pretty shitty people. Except for Ringo.
The Beatles music is most impactful if you were raised on it. It gives you an opportunity to already love the music and develop a more nuanced appreciation later in life.
>>71093602
gr8 b8 m8 I r8 a solid 8
I found it helpful to first listen to lots of artists who were heavily influenced by the Beatles. They were so ubiquitous that it's sometimes hard to pick out the elements that make them great, the things in their songs that make you say "that's the Beatles". Try some Badfinger, Big Star, ELO, XTC, even Elliott Smith.
Why is the UK underground music scene so shit today? I honestly spent hours looking for some good English indie bands and can't find shit.
Can you help me out here, /mu/?
>>71093586
Almost all music scenes are shit now because of the fragmentation caused by the internet. Also indie is shit
>>71093814
I think he meant "indie" as in independent not as in Arcade Fire and that shit
UK is goat for underground electronic
there lies ur problem cunt, lookin for the wrong stuff imo
what's your favourite Annie Clark song, /mu/?
mine's regret
when is her movie coming out?
Is Annie actually waifu tier around here?
I mean as far as I can tell only Grimes and Lavren get to harness /mu/'s
