Why is she so perfect, /mu/?

So im looking to buy a record player, I want to spend under $100 on it.
Does anyone have any recs?
I recommend saving more money to buy a good record player
>>71066366
Okay how much should I spend on a record player? And which one do you rec?
>>71066354

Put in the time. It's hella frustrating at first and if you're anything like me you're gonna be forming callouses ontop of callouses, but it's genuinely so rewarding.
Just get some tabs and shit, learn some of your favourite songs.
GET A DECENT BASS. Understand how turning up and down certain pickups changes the tone of your playing. Look into pedals and basically just experiment until you find a funky sound, really.
Most importantly, have fun. It's a hobby, not a chore.
>>71066212
understand that even though you are the backbone and just as important as anyone else in the band you will never under any circumstances be able to get with any women after the show.
this is the cruel nature of the bassist.
aside from that, it's a pretty fun instrument.

Who would have thought?
Mike Pence is that you?????
I don't get Arcade Fire.
Can someone explain the appeal to me? is it the fact that every song sounds grandoise and has fancy string arrangements?
>fancy string arrangements
What the fuck are you even talking about OP.
Also why do you want to "get" a band you're clearly not liking?
>>71065828
I'm just trying to understand why people like it, since all I get is an even split of people saying they're the best band ever and people saying it's shit, which doesn't help me get an understanding at all
>>71065850
I like it because it's lighthearted alternative rock that has lyrical themes which relate to me personally as well as being catchy enough without turning into radio schlock.
Their albums often have a concept around them and while there are definitely some really weak songs most are just well produced, executed and fun to listen to.
I can see how someone who's not into all of that would dislike it.
I don't get why a lot of people like a lot of other bands, but I just assume it's not my kind of thing and carry on with my life.

Pic related. Have always loved Phil in almost everything he's done and he's always been such a great character, a really down to earth, authentic guy.
He's not looking too good these days but if it's made possible, my buddy and I are going to see him when he does his final tour this year.
