I'm enjoying this so far anyone else liked it? what's some other albums similar? Here's link from archives
Blanck Mass - World Eater (2017)

Personally disliked it a lot. Felt pretty bland compared to Dumb Flesh and didn't have the punch I expected from Blanck Mass. Also too much cheesy sounding synths.
>>71162094
I'm about half way thru right now and it's spark is dwindling for me. where's some good, ridiculous electronic music from this year
>>71161886
havent listened to the full album yet but dumb flesh is one of my favorite albums
the songs i heard so far were kinda underwhelming though
but i really like the album cover even though it cant beat the dumb flesh cover

can't be shit if you say it's supposed to be "raw"
>>71161249
Metal is shit and I guarantee I get more pussy than you
Reminder that if you think classical is boring or cheesy you're a pleb and a numale.
>>71161164
Can't you post anything but buzzwords?
>>71161164
t. just sat down and listened to the 9th for the first time
Reminder that if you think classical is the only good music you're a pleb and a numale.
Started marathoning the first song on this album. I was going to continue listening to it, but I have to spend my free time monitoring my autistic friend. Recently he’s become obsessed with the receipt for his first installment of rent at his first apartment lease. He shows it to me four times a day and simply asks “What do you think, dude?” Music for this feel?
Good album tho.
"Cool"

Thanks for your interest. If I may continue to vent to you, he's been showing me the floor plans and talking about housewarming parties even though he is moving in half a year from now.
let him be happy
not sure if /mu/ is the place, but it fits to me:
why do oldies stations not want to include the 90s when they say THE TOP HITS OF THE 70s, 80s AND MORE!
its like a fucking conspiracy, we are 2 years away from 1999 being 20 years old, shouldn't 90s music be considered old by now?
pic not related (?)
I remember when top 40 stations played hits from the "80, 90s, and today"
>>71160718
>oldies
Might be your station, but I don't consider 90s oldies in terms of popular music and it was pretty uneventful compared to previous years.
>>71161441
problem is im hearing shit like creep and two princes, which i wouldn't think were mainstream outside of the year they played on air. or at all
i think its just they can't accept the 90s as old yet. i guess it'll happen in 2030
also, is /mu/ such a slow fucking board?
For what its worth the title track and closer are real good too, but i want more bleepy jamers damn it

>Someone Grear
>All My Friends
>Mediocre
>>71160759
I think what happened is i went into the album expecting stuff like the opener but it descended into indie rock so i wasn't feeling it. Ill have to listen to it again with a different mindset i suppose. I'm not one to write off albums on the first listen
Post your tripcaves where you chill & listen to tunes
Here's mine.

LP3 WHEN
Been really looking forward to this one
>>71160482
Same, the studio samples are sounding great. It's been pretty unique recording sessions and a bit out of all our comfort zones, but Robin has really put his heart into it :^)
Needs to be confirmed by the label obviously but we're looking at probably Autumn 2017
>>71160705
Hell yeah. Can't wait!
Greetings /mu/, filthy casual reporting in. I'm going through the /mu/ essentials chart, and pic related is my progress so far.
So far, I've been frustrated by albums with one song at or near the beginning which is of better quality than the rest of the album. I'll come up with some rating when I hear that song, then I have to revise my rating downward after hearing more of the album. For instance:
>Kid A - "The National Anthem"
>Merriweather Post Pavilion - "My Girls"
>American Football - "Never Meant"
>Nowhere - "Seagull"
>Discovery - "Digital Love"
>Mezzanine - "Rising Son"
Anyway, am I going to have to put up with this shit for the rest of my listening experience? Does anyone else find this annoying?
>>71334803
>didn't like Mezzanine
what fucking shit taste
>>71334803
Some songs are better than other songs, this isn't too much of a surprise and it's foolish to think that every album is consistent throughout. But what is it about Emergency & I that you hate so much.
Anyways it seems like you're more into electronic than anything else, so check out some more /mu/core electronic shit:
Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase
Autechre - Amber
Thom Yorke - Tomorrow's Modern Boxes
Oneohtrix Point Never - Garden of Delete
Take your sorry fucking ass and your shit taste and leave this board you raging autist
I'm on a soulseek binge, gimme some recs

double heads
also post a download link for the discog.
talking about the modern kind, not just DIY pop music
c'mon /mu/
>>71160047
>talking about the modern kind
So you want music from a contemporary genre that was made in the late 1800s-early 1900s?
That's a weird, impossible request.
SpaceGhostPurrp is the modern equivalent of Canibus. Prove me wrong.
>>71160013
he's the modern equivalent of a more self aware (but still retarded) dmx. or like anyone from memphis in the 90s imo
>>71160171
STILL XXXXTENTACTION'S DADDY THO lmao
Lol sgp is such a wreck.
Let's make a song together. No experimental shit. Only people who actually know how to use a daw. Then post the audio. Let's start with a BPM. I'm saying 127 in 4/4
let's make the song 30 bpm in 7/12 instead
let's make the song 230 bpm in 17/32 instead
Let's just go home
