t. Slayer T-shirt wearing neckbeard
Since I've been spending some time on /mu/ I can't enjoy any slightly formulaic songs anymore
That's your problem
>being influenced by /mu/tards
>>71360573
Because you were influenced negatively by this meme board. You fell for the patrician meme. Real patricians listen to whatever the fuck they want, when they want and don't give a fuck about what others say about their taste.
AC DC? the a stands for ass. the c stands for this band can't play anything decent. the d stands for don't listen to our shitty excuse for music. the other c stands for this band can't play anything decent. AC DC is some stupid australian classic rock band. the band started off as an unoriginal led zeppelin rip off with bon scott. then he died, and instead of their music vanishing forever, they got a second vocalist. bon scott sucked, but brian adams has some of the worse pitch problems ever. he can't stop screaming. would it kill him to have some variation in his vocal patterns? the band's lyrics suck too. there always about partying and having sex, yet its clear this band hasnt been invited to any parties or been laid in quite some time. the song structures are repetitive as fuck. the band has been playing the same song over and over again. angus young isn't even a good guitar player. just like slash and avenged sevenfold, they are known for the way they look, not how they play. angus young plays the same 10 power chords, and then we get uninspired solos from his gay brother. back in black is a pro racist album, as it encourages liberals to assume superiority through reverse racism acts like affirmitive action. AC DC and avenged sevenfold get an F minus.

Those are some tight jeans
>>71234939
yup. they're my guilty pleasure, and they should never be more than that. meme band at best
ACDC is fine for what they do. Most of their songs aren't worth your time, but some of their hits are incredibly good.
Alors les gars? s'en pensez quoi?
>>71360459
J'avais très peur en entendant les deux sons qu'ils ont balancés avant l'album...
Assez agréablement surpris en écoutant l'album, j'en suis à stup virus là
>>71360476
ouaip, surtout l'antidote était décevant mais ça a l'air bien parti, j'en suis à the solu tion
pour l'instant creepy slugs best track.
creepy slugs très au dessus du reste imo
Opinions on Sorority Noise? How similar to Fidlar do you think they are?
old gray were always better
They're not even remotely similar to FIDLAR. Not even sure why you asked that question.
They're much more similar to Modern Baseball.
Also they're a fantastic band but they've gotten worse with every release since Forgotten.
>>71235141
Do you mean forgettable?
What's everyone's opinion on Ed and this new album?
It seems like he's abandoned his own sound of acoustic guitar and really simple percussion for a more generic formula.
who fucking cares he'll always be trash anyway

̄ ̄ Here comes the DJ CLONEPA discography!
Hello Anon. I have made a thing.
This discography contains all existing DJ Clonepa music known to humankind. This includes LPs, EPs, compilations, and singles.
Many of these tracks are not available anywhere else on the web and came from either now defunct sites (ex. Clonepa's old Myspace) or were never released tracks that were aquired from Clonepa himself.
Please enjoy!

Thanks very much Anon.
Man I wish he would release in FLAC, which he only did with Courroux. Everything else is in MP3 baka. If I remember correctly, Pasdedeux was even in mutt bitrates.
>he uses flowcharts to decide which order to listen to an artists releases in
>he does not own or download any singles
>he does not listen to massive umbrellas of music such as Electronic Dance Music or Classical Music
>he has never been to a proper club
>he mainly finds music through publications such as pitchfork, resident advisor, tinymixtapes, e.t.c. (or from recommendations of other people who do that)
>he places too high of a value on lyricism and dislikes good music for 'bad lyrics'
>he thinks that certain musical genres are 'not music'
>he almost exclusively listens to a single genre
>he cant play a song that people will enjoy at a party which he also enjoys
i liek chocolate mikl
>his favourite artist is on spotify
>his favourite artist has over 500 listeners on lastfm
>he hasn't learned music theory, new languages, or the history of music and culture for a wide array of countries
>he listens to music in the background instead of exclusively making it the focus
>he pauses/skips tracks on albums instead of listening to it in its entirety with his eyes closed
>given the chance, he will choose not to download in FLAC
>he doesnt appreciate grimes
>>71360491
caring about the popularity of your favourite artist certainly makes you a fake music enthusiast
What's so special about Illmatic?
Also general Nas thread.
There's nothing special or standout besides maybe the lyrics, it just does everything it wants to do perfectly, it's the ITAOTS of rap
>>71360261
Good lyrics, catchy hooks
muh deep lyrics
Which do I listen to first, /mu/?
Kiss Me only has one good song
Disintegration obviously
Kiss me, so you can still enjoy the album
Once you want it to feel like shit, listen Godtier Disintegration
If you've already listened to Pornography, you've already fucked yourself with both.
Was 2004 the best year in music in the last century?
2015
what else?
>>71360152
I was thinking that but let's compare
2015:
TPAB
E.Mo.Tion
Art Angels
Carrie and Lowell
Currents
2004:
Doom's 2 best projects
The College Dropout
Hot Fuss
Sung Tongs
Funeral
i think 2004 wins, but it's close
Does anyone else get pissed off when people throw around the "I remember when I was 14" or the "Typical 16 year olds". The majority of the time I really don't see what's so teenager-ish about the albums people choose. If you have ever used this argument, then what posts do you refer to and what would you classify as """mature""" music?
Inb4: butthurt teenager
The only music I respect is music I haven't heard of
>>71360149
What does that even mean?
>>71360137
I don't really use that language, but pop shit. Which also includes /mu/core. If you only discover your music through places like this and your music library is made up entirely of things you heard other people say are good your music taste has not yet matured. I expect an adult to be able to use the internet to find music on his own through extensive lastfm/rym/discogs/youtube/soulseek research, looking through genres/labels/musicians/compilations/etc associated with your favourite projects.
Nothing wrong with not having a matured taste in music, most people don't really have that.
