Just found out my gf cheated on me with the lead singer of my band.
Albums for this feel?
Pic related, it's what I've been listening to for the past hour or so.

Nine Inch Nails-Pretty Hate Machine
Leave the band and start your own solo project and make an album about how much it hurts to be heart broken and cheated on
Hey /mu/, what are some post-punk bands similar to Joy Division, other than Interpol? I listened to pic related for the first time recently and it really scratched the same itches as JD.
The Chameleons
Echo and the Bunnymen
Sisters of Mercy
Bauhaus

Hi /mu/, I play several wind instruments, I was wondering if any of you got real solid tips on how to improve the air flow, a lit of exercises, also, the speed of the fingers, precision.
Sure I could play again and again a tune until I manage to succeed, but I don't feel that's good enough. Also, that feels like not the optimal method for improving.
I do not come here often so please be kind /mu/
in high school, my teacher used to play breathing gym dvds for us. idk if that'll help you or not
as far as finger dexterity, just play a lot. and practice all your major scales n shit
>>71263917
>just play a lot.
>practice all your major scales
practice scales seems more effective than just playing
I want to find an even more efficient way.

my saxophone teacher always told me to fill up a room completely with your air through the horn. Picture a piece of paper colored in with a crayon verses a paper colored in with a marker. One has spaces where the blank page is visible, one is just solid color with no room for white space. Even when playing a softer dynamic, your softer sound should still fill the room.
Is there any music genre (or artists) where the vocals are specifically given in the form of normal speech? I.e no singing, no rapping - just talking over the music.
The speech can be a sound clip from some movie or perhaps someone reading a poem.

Which is the best Wednesday Campanella album to start off with? Don't feel like buying all their shit at once.
Same question, but with Kinoco Hotel.
Saw them listed as playing live at Club Deca and oh shit this aesthetic is 100% my shit
I recommend listening chronilogically, so Crawl to Sakaagari.

Thanks.
"The concept of the group that Kenmochi and Dir.F had in the early years was a folklore-style Perfume"
I'm super stoaked to see what that concept sounds like. Do they carry that concept on to their later shit?
OH LOVE WAS STRONGER THEN
LIFE WENT ON WITHOUT END
NOW TO FEEL THE SUN
BURN OUR RIGHTS AND WRONGS
THE SHOCK OF ASH UPON HOPE AND PEACE
i wish ppl just sang what they meant
at least then we could talk about it

I like abstract lyrics, but I take issue when the lyrics are so abstract that no one can understand them. At that point, it's usually just the songwriter trying to seem more "deep" than they really are.
>>71263276
these are good lyrics
